Ergonomic chair or Gaming chair ? Why not both ?

A car is a horrible comparison, the best car you can buy for long term reliability is a Toyota, not a Ferrari. And while sure, something like the Secretlab Titan is going to be more comfortable than a $50 office chair, that doesn’t change the fact that the chair is shit value at $500 MSRP. You can g

Steelcase Series 1 - Secondhand

Hi Steelcase employee here. Series 1 is a great intro chair IMO. Biggest downside this chair has is limitations in adjustment. If you're a solid postured individual, this probably isn't a concern for you. If you tend to lean or contort yourself in the chair, the chair won't support you as well. I wi

$150 For Steelcase Series 1

I'll go against the grain and say you should be able to find a Leap or Amia ( pretty solid Steelcase upgrade) for about $200 and I wouldn't really consider the series 1 unless its like $50 But I'm a pain in the ass and deal hunt Edit: used pricing, check FB marketplace or offer up

Is Costco 140$ good? I tried it for like 30 seconds, not bad.

Hunt a Steelcase or something from Marketplace for the same price or even lower. Those chairs are garbage. I recently found an almost brand new Steelcase Series 1 for $15

In need of a good office chair

I'd really recommend visiting an office furniture distributer and sitting on some different chairs. Everyone's body is so different that it's really hard to recommend something. That being said, it sounds like you're fairly petite. I think the steelcase series 1 might be just about the best chair fo

Suggest a chair pls.

I have a Steelcase Series 1 I have been using for about 5 years now that I absolutely love. It has held up great. It's $530 brand new, pre-tax, so it's probably just outside of your price range, but if you go the route I did and get a refurbished one then it falls within your budget. You may be able

Recommendations for ''lower end'' office chair (new only) for 450$ USD (600$ CAD) ?

Steelcase Series 1 is $499 with certain options. Some of these models like the Series 1 or Soji get a lot of hate because people are justifying their $1500 chairs. For 3x the price sure there are some enhancements in a Leap or Aeron but I would still opt for a low end model from a high end brand rat

How good is the Gispen ZINN Smart ergonomics-wise?

i sat in a Herman Miller Aeron for years and honestly, office chairs are super personal. The Gispen is a solid Dutch brand, but comfort depends on your body. what helped me when i was chair shopping was looking at adjustable lumbar support and seat depth. If you're curious about the higher-end feel,

Chairs

I bought a Steelcase Series 1 chair as my sewing chair; it wasn't cheap but they delivered it to my house. Almost any good office chair without arms would work. What you want to check: Lumbar support Seat pan depth (how wide the seat is from front to back so your back and butt are against the back o
