Can anyone recommend a comfortable chair for long hours of remote work that doesn’t break the bank?
i feel you on the sore back after full days. the branch chair is decent for $300 but the steelcase series 1 at $500 is worth the jump - way better lumbar and seat cushion that doesnt flatten. also check out the sihoo m18 around $250 or the clatina mellet if you want a headrest. what helped me was ge

Suggest a chair pls.
I have a Steelcase Series 1 I have been using for about 5 years now that I absolutely love. It has held up great. It's $530 brand new, pre-tax, so it's probably just outside of your price range, but if you go the route I did and get a refurbished one then it falls within your budget. You may be able

Plus size office chairs
Came here to recommend Steelcase as well! I bought a Series 1 in like 2020 and this year my chair kept lowering on its own. I was able to use the warranty to get a whole new chair at no cost! That said, I don't know if they still have that warranty as an option.

Best Chair for ~$950
i was in the same spot last year with a grand to spend. secretlabs are fine but the foam is pretty firm. for that budget you can actually get a steelcase series 1 new or a used leap v2. also check the ergochair pro - it's right at $900 and has better lumbar than secretlab. herman miller sayl is anot

looking for an chair under 15k-20k
Try a second hand steelcase or Herman miller. There is a reason they give that 12 year warranty. My Series 1 is still super comfortable and even after a ton of abuse, there isn’t a single issue.

Recommendations for a Good Work Chair
I like Okamura’s Sylphy, one of the comfiest chairs I’ve sat in. I tried the Herman Millers at co-working spaces and they seem to be just meh.. I’ve a steelcase series 1 for 6 years now, it fits your budget but it’s pretty average. Afaik, Secretlab is more marketing than chair. Try to get a mesh bac

UK – Refurbished Steelcase Think V1 vs SIHOO M57 vs stretching to Series 1? Worth it short-term?
Judt go with the Sihoo M57. I have one bought mine from Sihoo Australia and it’s been solid for daily work. Nothing fancy, but comfortable enough and gets the job done. Refurb Steelcase is good value, yeah, but it’s still used and a bit of a gamble depending on condition. Series 1 feels overkill for

ngl the branch is decent but steelcase series 1 is a real upgrade - the seat foam and lumbar actually hold up past 6 months. i'd also throw Staples Ayalon into the mix around $400, it's basically a poor man's leap. if you can stretch to $550, Steelcase Series 2 gives you adjustable lumbar depth whic

Office Chair for Chronic Back Pain and Migraines
Jumping in to say Botox will hopefully help the migraines but if your headaches are Chiari related, it probably won’t do much. You’ll need to see a neurosurgeon (even if you don’t need surgery). Neurologists don’t know anything about Chiari. Check out r/chiari for some good people and some helpful t

Seriously will someone suggest a brand that doesn't suck
Expensive is relative in this case. Let’s say you spend $120 on an uncomfortable chair that lasts 2 years before it starts falling off its mounts; did you really save any money when you have to now replace it and could have spent $400 and gotten a chair that lasts you 5-10 years that’s not uncomfort
