Enough about your ears. Tell me about your ass.

I know this is a shitpost, but seriously, get a good chair and make sure your setup is ergonomic, including the height of the display(s). I have serious issues with my upper body that were in part due to years of bad ergonomics. Bought a steelcase gesture and I’m very happy with it.

Herman Miller Embody chair: negative Experience after 6 weeks of daily use (8-10h/day)

Unfortunately thats just how it goes for chairs.... everyone's body is different and its simply not possible to make an ergonomic chair that works for everyone. I have an Embody after trying the Steelcase Gesture and Haworth Fern, and I hated those other chairs. The Embody is the only chair thats ev

Need a new chair.

Those who recommended Secretlab obviously did not own other chairs. Try Haworth Fern / Zody in their KL showroom if you’re nearby. Can get RM2k-ish during sales from their official Lazada store. Good and decent task chairs. I saw you’re contemplating on Libernovo Omni. I’m having this as well. Very

Furniture store w/ CA-made ergo office chairs (in stock)?

It's not Canadian made, but Steelcase is the best I've ever seen in terms of ergonomics, style and overall quality. It's made in Germany, not Asia so maybe it works for you? I've had a Steelcase Gesture for about 15 years now and still not a single squeak or creak with zero maintenance. The Leap is

How do you survive working at a desk?

When setting up my desk I looked up ergonomic desk recommendations and cherry picked what would work for me. I shift my standing desk up and down a few inches to change my body position slightly every 20-60 min standing is a max of 20 min I like my Steelcase leap, I also like the gesture. Try before

Any recos for best gaming chair that offers the best experience nowadays

QUICK UPDATE: After research and reading the comments, I chose the Steelcase Gesture Office Chair as my ergonomic work chair for long sessions. Many people here mentioned how well it supports posture and stays comfortable over time. I’m hopeful it will make a big difference for both work and gaming.

Herman what? #Secretlab

I switched from my Steelcase Gesture to a Titan Evo a couple of weeks ago. No pain after working from home, long gaming sessions, etc.

Office chairs kinda just all suck

I like to sit up straight as well. that‘s why I chose a chair with strong lumbar support to keep my back upright, support me sufficiently and also where I don‘t need to lean my upper back on the backrest. Steelcase Gesture is exactly that for me. No leaning back. Sitting upright by good support in l
