i don't agree that this sub or reddit thinks "no other chair is even worth your time." i've seen consistent praise for the embody as well as steelcase leap v2s and gestures. no chair works for every body type. for me, the aeron is less comfortable than both the leap v2 and the embody.

I know this is a shitpost, but seriously, get a good chair and make sure your setup is ergonomic, including the height of the display(s). I have serious issues with my upper body that were in part due to years of bad ergonomics. Bought a steelcase gesture and I’m very happy with it.

I had a Herman Miller Aeron for awhile and had a hunch it was making things worse. Leg pain, back pain. Finally said screw it and tried a Steelcase Gesture and oh my god it was like night and day. Maybe try to switch it up. You have the cash and there is no better investment than in things between y

I have a Steelcase Gesture at home and a Herman Miller Aeron in the office. I greatly prefer the Steelcase. Many others on this sub have recommended the Steelcase Leap.

Unfortunately thats just how it goes for chairs.... everyone's body is different and its simply not possible to make an ergonomic chair that works for everyone. I have an Embody after trying the Steelcase Gesture and Haworth Fern, and I hated those other chairs. The Embody is the only chair thats ev

Worth every penny. My wife got me a Secretlab Omega gaming chair for my birthday. It was terrible, like sitting on concrete. Sold it and got a Steelcase Gesture. Night and day difference. I can sit on it for 9 hours of work, take a break for dinner, and then sit on it again for a few more hours for

They sell great too. I’d keep it but my chair which I also got from a dumpster is a steelcase gesture.

Don't get a gaming chair, get a good office chair. Gaming chairs are pretty much universally cheap junk and more flash than substance. The gold standard for office chairs are the Steelcase Gesture and Herman Miller Aeron, but they are quite expensive. There are people who fix them up and sell them u

Those who recommended Secretlab obviously did not own other chairs. Try Haworth Fern / Zody in their KL showroom if you’re nearby. Can get RM2k-ish during sales from their official Lazada store. Good and decent task chairs. I saw you’re contemplating on Libernovo Omni. I’m having this as well. Very

Steelcase Leap. The Gesture, which is very similar (but not as nice-looking) is also great. Here is The Wirecutter's review. These are much better than the Aeron, in my opinion. The Aeron, while icon, is all plastic and is nowhere near as snug or warm as the Steelcase models. Also, Steelcase is abou
