Why should I choose Nikon?

Nikon has been aggressive in giving photographers, and now videographers, the most bang for their buck in mirrorless. The Z-mount is semi-open, giving you the same budget options that Sony shooters get, and you can adapt E-mount lenses as well since there are more E-mount lenses floating around the

In your experience, what are the most reliable mirrorless cameras your photographers have used on set?

I've had the Sony A1 since 2021 and the A1 II since launch and zero issues so far shooting in basically every scenario. Pretty easy to work with after getting it all dialed in.

Sony is slowly improving the ergonomics of its cameras, but it’s still not enough | I own and use Sony cameras all the time, but I’m perpetually blown away by how much nicer it is to hold a Canon or Nikon

Some interesting perspectives from this photographer: I’ve been railing against this niche nuisance for years now. And I give Sony credit for at least starting to pay attention to it in 2023 with the A9 III, but it just isn’t doing enough. My A9 III feels slightly better to use than my original A1 t

“Your camera doesn’t matter” mentality turning into self sabotage… is it time to let go of my Canon 5D Mark IV? Would a Sony A1 be an unnecessary upgrade?

i have never touched an A1 i owned a 5D Mk II and then a Mk III. Am a very serious amateur who got paid.. v. part time ... to do some sports. But would not call myself a pro. I found that the user interface/ergonomics of trying a couple Sony cameras to be problematic after being a longtime shooter o

Looking to buy the best camera under 50k budget

Use your phone, few months isn’t enough to learn. You won’t get extremely good results in your upcoming trip even with a sony a1ii. Your phone will make better photographs initially. Now if you want to learn photography with a camera, get yourself a used sony a6400 with a suitable prime lens from a

Canon powershot. Is it time for an upgrade? (First time posting)

I own an insane setup, the Sony A1ii with a Sony 300mm f2.8 lens. If I were to go back and buy something else for birding specifically I’d 100% go with the Olympus OM1mkii and whichever lens is in your budget. Smaller, more compact lenses, I already crop like crazy on full frame most of the time. Th

Third race done with Leica M EV1 / Voigtländer Nokton 35mm 1.2 - Swipe for photos.

I usually shoot with Sony A1 II and A9III but this year it’s been Leica, it’s to easy with the other two. Need a challenge and it’s so much fun. I stop down to between 5.6 and 8, maybe around 1.5-2 meters. If I have more time I go down to f2.8 :)

Running sports with Leica M EV1 / Brightin Star 28mm

Hahahahah :) I do own both Sony A1 II and A9III but they collect dust in the wardrobe. Leica is so much more fun to use.
