What do we think of rumored Z9ii specs?

How does improving something make the outgoing version bad? That doesn't make any sense. Every new camera ever released has improvements over the prior generation. No matter how good something is, it can always be improved. Every manufacturer says exactly the same thing when their new camera drops.

Few of my Rifleman / Titipounamu Photos

Hey there! So these were taken on my A1 II with the Sony 200-600 G OSS and Sony 70-200 GM II. I know people like to think expensive cameras solve all the problems (seeing that daily working in a camera store), but that is really far from true. I’ve managed some amazing bird photos at Zealandia with

Looking left to Full frame & Looking right to M43 for wildlife

I use the Sony A7C. Dynamic range at base ISO of course it's better, but with difficult conditions that are common in wildlife photography, I haven't found the difference to be that huge at high ISO especially with software like DXO and Lr ai denoise. I consistently shoot at 12800 on the OM-1II and

What are good cameras for minimal rolling shutter for automotive and fast paced action?

If you're already in the Sony ecosystem, why not just get an A9 III? It's a global shutter and it will work with all of the glass you already use on the A1 and I'm assuming it has fantastic autofocus like the rest of Sony's stuff. It's expensive, but not really any more so than an A1 II or Komodo-X.

Anyone who says Fuji can’t be used for sports is crazy

i think the whole thing about fuji autofocus being bad is a meme. i have no doubt you’re getting good hit rates with indoor basketball, just as i’m getting good hit rates with birds in flight. i have a sony a1 ii and the difference with my x-t5 isn’t that noticeable for real world stuff. but i’m not

How to Achieve This Flash Photography Look ?

You need a simple flash to attach to the camera. You don't need any fancy functions like TTL or HSS but enough power so that you have decent recycle times when you use it in 1/8 (e.g. Yongnuo YN560). Set camera and flash in manual mode and begin with the following settings Camera: RAW, ISO 800, f5.6

Best set up for an amateur bird photographer that won't completely break the bank?

I had the Sony a6700 and 200-600 before getting my A1ii. It’s an amazing setup for bird photography. Super fast autofocus, great reach and image quality with the 200-600. Only downside is no pre-capture. You won’t notice any difference between APSC and full frame as an amateur. I’ve even shot the a6

FF camera advice

It’s not stated in your list - but if you’re really after performance in the tier of the Sony A1 ii then I would recommend considering the Canon R5 mk 2 and use EF glass for a 400 f2.8 or a 500/600 f4. I would still definitely consider the Sony A1 ii to be among the most elite AF performance out the

Hasselblad X2D II ?

Despite having AF-C and a better focusing system, I am not sure I would choose the X2D II to shoot photos of kids or ppl in events. Sure, it can be done but it will not be as quick as the typical mainstream camera brands like the Canon R5 or Sony A7RV and so on. in my opinion, landscape and Real Est

What is the best camera + lens setup for under 7,000 USD

A Sony A1 Mark II + Sony 200-600 will be the best setup in this generous budget. I shoot with a similar setup, you can see the birds in flight results in my profile.
