Okay so I know this is kind of a petty thing to post but I’m firmly mildly infuriated 😭
Full context: I had a Sony a6400 listed, the description said it was body only, the pictures had the body only as well. I offered them a discount and threw in a free bag, lens cloth and extra caps for free just

I took this photo with a Sony a6400 and the skywatcher evostar 72ed telescope. I have put together two photos, one of 1 second exposure at ISO 1600 and another of 1/80 s at ISO 100, and with some touch-ups in Lightroom. It is my first attempt at lunar HDR and I still have things to improve. I accept

Took this photo during Saturday’s city stroll for the Worldwide Photo Walk 2025, and is a favorite of mine for the year so far. The guy was incredibly friendly and happy to be framed. Unfortunately I’d just had lunch so couldn’t stick around for some of his food, a delicious a local dish of honey gl

Hello, I am a beginner. I go out on hikes with non-photohrapher friends and bring my camera to hopefully get some shots. I am using a Sony a6400 with the kit lens. What baffles me, is that sometimes, especially in situations requiring high dynamic ranges(backlit)...my friends may just get a better p

Shot this while trying out slow shutter speed from the 3rd row seat of a car. The pattern you see got baked in as the car's suspension soaked the bumps on road while I tried my best for steady hands. Initially I thought the pic was a lost cause but a bit of edit really helped salvage this.

Got this lens before Diwali & to get some experience with a new lens, I shot these photos from our terrace. Sigma 23mm can take some good shots in indoor lighting as well. Just remember to set your metering mode properly.
EXIF:
Aperture: f1.6
ISO: 4000-6000
Shutter Speed: 1/40

I threw this together for all the people who ask what kind of camera to buy. I carried a Sony a6400 with a basic 16-50mm lens when I hiked the AT in 2022. I went back to some of the same areas this summer with my Sony a7Rii and 24-70GM. The difference between these two setups is enormous - the 24-70

I know the iso is a little higher on the last 2 pictures. Is this just to be expected when shooting on a more budget setup?

picked up an older camera, canon m2 with the 22mm f2 and went on my first photo walk today
my primary is a Sony a6400 and what I learnt today is that autofocus and speed has come a long way but if you have the patience you can get some good photos :)

I have just started taking RAW pictures with Sony a6400 + Tamron 18 300 I was expecting to get very big image but I think I am getting a lot of compression, higher than if I had taken the picture with my cellphone.
What could be the Cause? ISO is on auto
