HDR Lunar

I took this photo with a Sony a6400 and the skywatcher evostar 72ed telescope. I have put together two photos, one of 1 second exposure at ISO 1600 and another of 1/80 s at ISO 100, and with some touch-ups in Lightroom. It is my first attempt at lunar HDR and I still have things to improve. I accept

How much camera do you really need for the AT? This is Virginia, as shot on Sony a6400 vs Sony a7Rii.

I threw this together for all the people who ask what kind of camera to buy. I carried a Sony a6400 with a basic 16-50mm lens when I hiked the AT in 2022. I went back to some of the same areas this summer with my Sony a7Rii and 24-70GM. The difference between these two setups is enormous - the 24-70

Why am I getting so much compression?

I have just started taking RAW pictures with Sony a6400 + Tamron 18 300 I was expecting to get very big image but I think I am getting a lot of compression, higher than if I had taken the picture with my cellphone.

How to get sharper landscapes?

Photography has became one of my biggest hobbies and I really enjoy shooting landscapes (and lots if other motives). Something that I have notices is that whenever I shoot landscapes the picture comes out slightly blurry/smooth. Personally I would prefer if the come out tack sharp as my macrophotos

When we go out on a hike, sometimes my friends, who aren't photographers, get better pictures with their Iphones!!!

Hello, I am a beginner. I go out on hikes with non-photohrapher friends and bring my camera to hopefully get some shots. I am using a Sony a6400 with the kit lens. What baffles me, is that sometimes, especially in situations requiring high dynamic ranges(backlit)...my friends may just get a better p

Why do my photos not look as sharp as I thought?

Hey everyone, I'm a beginner in photography and was experimenting with the exposure triangle by taking some pictures of this lego star wars piece.

What I noticed is that when I zoom into the picture, the image is not as sharp as I expected. Is this normal?

Shot with a Sony a6400 + Sony 16-50mm f/3

Fractal | Sony A6400 | Sony 18-135mm

Shot this while trying out slow shutter speed from the 3rd row seat of a car. The pattern you see got baked in as the car's suspension soaked the bumps on road while I tried my best for steady hands. Initially I thought the pic was a lost cause but a bit of edit really helped salvage this.
