Sold a Sony camera **body** at a discount on marketplace, received these messages 4 hours later—
Okay so I know this is kind of a petty thing to post but I’m firmly mildly infuriated 😭
Full context: I had a Sony a6400 listed, the description said it was body only, the pictures had the body only as well. I offered them a discount and threw in a free bag, lens cloth and extra caps for free just

How do I get sharper, less noisy pictures?
Sony A6400, Sigma 16-300 lens.
Photo 1: f9.0 1/2500 iso800 Photo 2: f8.0 1/800 iso2000 Photo 3: f5.6 1/800 iso2500
I know the iso is a little higher on the last 2 pictures. Is this just to be expected when shooting on a more budget setup?

When we go out on a hike, sometimes my friends, who aren't photographers, get better pictures with their Iphones!!!
Hello, I am a beginner. I go out on hikes with non-photohrapher friends and bring my camera to hopefully get some shots. I am using a Sony a6400 with the kit lens. What baffles me, is that sometimes, especially in situations requiring high dynamic ranges(backlit)...my friends may just get a better p

anyone else think the fujifilm camera naming is a shitshow?
Have you seen sonys apsc line? Somehow the a6400 was released after the a6500. There is no linearlity to its features and the model name. At least fuji's is clear as to which style of camera body is represented by the model numbers

Why am I getting so much compression?
I have just started taking RAW pictures with Sony a6400 + Tamron 18 300 I was expecting to get very big image but I think I am getting a lot of compression, higher than if I had taken the picture with my cellphone.
What could be the Cause? ISO is on auto

anyone else think the fujifilm camera naming is a shitshow?
The Sony Aps-c naming convention is awful but it works like this: Entry level: a6000 (2014) replaced by a6100 (2019) Midrange: a6300 (2016) replaced by a6400 (2019) Enthusiast: a6500 (2016) replaced by a6600 (2019) One aps-c to rule them all: a6700 (2023) That’s how you get an a6400 that’s newer tha

Noob question: why film in 4K?
90% of the people on YouTube have no idea what they’re talking about But you wanna shoot 4K even for delivery at 1080p with the a6400 because the 1080p is awful. It’s line-skipped 4K so it looks really really really bad and blurry. If you’re shooting for work and worried about file sizes then charge

Choosing the Wrong Camera
This is something I should’ve done right from the start, but I didn’t.
So, here’s the thing: I love photography, but not to the point of carrying a big bag full of lenses and accessories everywhere I go. For years, I didn’t own any photography gear. Last year, I finally saved enough money to treat

Sony a6400 saturation issue?
Hi guys,
I’ve recently got myself a Sony a6400 and when shooting on auto mode in the mountains (with both my 16-50 and 55-210 lenses), my photos seem to be coming out oversaturated and with a particularly blue/purple tint to them. Is this to do with the snow vs. sky, white balance, some setting in
