Just got a 9070xt wondering which monitor I should get
Hardly at all. Newer QD-OLEDs and WOLEDs have a lot of burn-in mitigation like pixel shifting, pixel cleaning, panel refresh. I picked up a Samsung G80SD around the new year and I’ve really started to appreciate this monitor the more and more I use it. Not an ounce of pixel retention from what I can

Oled 2k 480hz vs 4k 240hz
The only downside is that 32” is honestly a little too large for competitive fps. It’s not an issue now though since 27” 4k 240 are available. I wish I had waited but they didn’t exist when I decided on a 32” Samsung g80sd

4K is the move?
I have a Samsung g80sd 240 Hz 4k oled and a 5080 and I'm supper happy I swapped from 1440p TN panel and a 1080ti. 4k has 2.25 x more pixels then 1440p. I can play almost all games I like at high toax graphics 120-200 fps. Where I appreciate my 4k display the most is in non arena styles fps games ( n

Steal of a Deal.
i’ve always gamed on monitors, i’m using the 32 inch g80sd and it’s definitely an upgrade from the previous IPS monitors i’ve had in the past!

Unpopular Opinion: Monitors are overrated for PS5 (unless you're a competitive sweat).
Oh, I have a Samsung OLED, Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SD). I don’t know if that came out before yours. I looked it up, it’s not on all odyssey monitors. It’s pretty cool though. Smooths out choppy looking frame rates. Looks better on some games than others. I don’t quite understand how it works. Fo

How is the 5080 for 4k gaming?
My objection was about your claim of 5090 being the only 4K capable card out there and it kinda boiled down to just 5090 is better than 5080, which obviously nobody could disagree with. But even then, my point of 5080 being perfectly capable of 4K still stands. Your avoidance of DLSS makes your case

what tv are you guys using for gaming right now?
65" Samsung S90D QD-OLED TV for PS5 Pro and Switch 2 and a 32" 4K Samsung Oddyssey G8(G80SD) QD-OLED Monitor for PC and Switch OLED. QD-OLED is pure bliss for gaming, so yeah, i'm loving it! And no, i don't think about burn in.

Is it worth buying a gaming monitor or should I just use a TV for PS5?
I have a Ps5 Pro which was connected to a 32" 4K Samsung Oddyssey G80SD QD-OLED Monitor and it was awesome, changed my TV to a 65" Samsung S90D QD-OLED and the TV is just better. RN i only have the PC and Switch OLED connected to the Monitor and the Pro and Switch 2 to the TV. From my experience the
