Samsung launches three 4K 32-inch Smart monitors: M9 gets QD-OLED panel and $1599 price tag

Lots and I mean lots of people have been using the G80SD from Samsung since last year (32" 4K 240hz OLED with Tizen OS) and outside of some technical details (DP1.4 issues with Nvidia that might be fixed after latest driver for example) majority of people absolutely love it because of the matte fini

Don't find OLEDs to be "Infinitely better" as people seem to insist

Text fringing and brightness are such an issue in OLED for me that I had to return both my Samsung G80SD and LG32GS95UV for the good old IPS panel monitor. Most of the reviewers and 'content creators' out there only focus on gaming and multimedia content, and fail to talk more about using OLED for o

Samsung Unveils New Odyssey Gaming Monitor Lineup, Featuring World-First 6K 3D and Ultra-High-Resolution Displays

Yeah honestly a bit surprised. It seems like it’s pretty much still a 4th gen panel? I have the G80SD and I absolutely love it (especially for $599 on the Samsung app), but considering it’s been 2yrs figured they’d have some bigger improvements other than enhanced I/O? I guess DSC is no longer neede

Need a 32-inch 4K+ monitor with high brightness, strong contrast, accurate colors, high refresh rate. Am I being unrealistic?

Not the high end Samsung Neo G7 and G8. I have a Neo G7 and a G80SD side by side and the difference between them, in any aspect, is not big at all. If I could keep only one it would be the Neo G7.

People who have both or have seen oled and high end mini led. Is there much difference?

I have both a high end QD-OLED (Samsung G80SD) and an entry level mini led, but still very capable (KTC M27T6). Both are good in HDR, but the OLED pulls ahead in SDR. The picture looks "cleaner" on the OLED due to the better gradation and viewing angles. Here's a funny anecdote : don't forget how th

Windows version 4.4 vs 5.0 HDR help.

Running Windows 4.4 on the left looks great, working as intended, HDR and brightness is PERFECT. It's a little brighter and washed out in the screenshot as capturing HDR and it's problems are difficult. Windows 5.0 on the right there as you can see is just darker. Lacking brightness. I can artificia

New Sale! My First OLED! Please I need some help!

That's a perfectly valid reason, I just wanted to make sure you weren't forgetting the best option. So to answer your questions : the Samsung uses the same panel as the MSI, so expect similar picture quality however, it has a matte finish, while the other QD-OLEDs are glossy So all in all very simil

Thank you for the tip about dimming not being set to auto! HVA mini led vs QD OLED

They have objective measurements with an expensive meter and a spectro, what are you talking about? I already mentioned, black crush differs massively between different oled models. Just take a look at the measurements. Samsungs have dogshit accuracy in Game Mode usually, it does NOT mean oleds are

Thank you for the tip about dimming not being set to auto! HVA mini led vs QD OLED

Until you admit your mistake. I asked you, do you know how to read measurements? Because if you look at the AW3225QF or the PG27UCDM for example, they're some of the most accurate gaming monitors you can get right now (not accounting for the heat affecting tracking on the AW for example) https://www

[Other] Which TV brand got the best image for PS5?

I’ve got the Samsung G80SD and it’s great. I know some people would prefer a glossy screen compared to the G80SD’s matte screen, but I’ve got no complaints about it.
