Is this a real Samsung SSD?
Yeah, as stated, Samsung OEM drives unfortunately dont work fully with Magician. This is a Lenovo drive, LEN(ovo) Part Number SSS0L25196, you can search for it. There's a few different part numbers on there. The actual drive is a PM9A1, pretty good one, here: https://www.techpowerup.com/ssd-specs/sa

External SSD
External with a Gen4 SSD is the golden ticket. Gen5 and you lose the speed gains due to TB5 anyway. Best bet is something like a 980 pro from Samsung and an Acasis TB5 enclosure. You'll maximise the TB5 throughput this way without wasting money on a newer gen5 9100 pro ssd where you wouldn't realise

Should I bother with PCIe 5 SSDs?
Unless you're trying to run your company's database from your lapto;.... Don't worry about it. A PCIe 4.0 or even 3.0 drive is more than fast enough for most people and most use cases. Do be sure to opt for a drive which does NOT have a heatsink - Those will not fit into virtually any laptop (Framew

SATA or NVMe stick
Ok if you want a high end samsung drive I would recommend the 980 pro or 990 pro you can get cheaper that will still work for you the 9100 pro is a gen 5 drive and the motherboard is gen 4 so it would work but you would be wasting money and gen 5 drives get very hot while gen 4 drives are cooler

Disc support added to Cores
That'd be great. Both my Samsung 980 pro and my WD SN500 don't work...I'm reluctant to spend until i get more confirmations. At least for now, it works as long as it's in my enclosure, and plugged in via usb. Thank you!

Es posible actualizar la tarjeta madre con nuevo cpu y GPU?
i looked into this for my own nitro last year. tbh swapping the motherboard on a laptop is really tough - the mounting points, cooling system, and power delivery are all custom per model. what helped me was just upgrading the ram and adding an ssd instead. both make a noticeable difference. for ram

Msi thin 15
for the thin 15 you'll want a single sided nvme drive since clearance is tight in there. the samsung 980 runs cool and fits perfectly - used that in a similar chassis. western digital sn770 is another solid pick if you want to save a bit. just avoid drives with heatsinks or double sided nand, they w

109 GBs free but am unable to download anything regardless of size.
i ran into this last month. the ps5 needs double the game size free during install because it copies then verifies. so a 70gb game needs 140gb free. 109gb is basically a dead zone where nothing big fits. easiest fix is grabbing an external ssd for ps4 games or moving stuff to extended storage. for p
