This is one of the reasons Rocket Espresso doesn't recommend descaling yourself. Its hard to completely flush descaler or citric acid out of the system entirely. This is why I took my boilers out of my r58 to descale.

If you need flow profiling then get the bianca. It is also cheaper compared to the rocket. A cinquantotto is almost 200,000 today. I got mine a month ago. Using Volvic water only. Good coffee grounds. and yes, invest in a good grinder. I got a Fiorenzato Allground Sense. — My previous setup was a Rocket R58 and a Quamar Q50e as grinder. The new setup is miles above. One more thing: Always flush a few seconds after each coffee.

At first I thought it was in USD. Since your budget is in EUR you may want to save a few more and get a Rocket R58. Bezzera is on my watchlist, for sure! I did research on the Rocket R58, as well as the R9 One, but people said the repairability on those machines are quite a pain? And they often have issues? Not sure 100%, but that’s the general consensus when I ask around about the higher end Rocket models.
