The Ferrari of Espresso Machines Is Fueling a Hot Resale Market

I’m a former commercial barista and considered a LM just to reproduce the experience / rituals / feelings I had using pro machines. Entry level stuff like Breville just doesn’t feel the same. But of course there is a world of machines in between that are rewarding to use, look great, make great shot

Rocket or Lelit

I can't say much about cons, but both are more than capable of running in a commercial setting. Coffee Central (distributor of Lelit Bianca) said that it can run 100 cups comfortably in a day. I've run 100++ cups handling events (mobile coffee cart) with a Rocket R58. So it would be easy to do 1-4 c

The Ferrari of Espresso Machines Is Fueling a Hot Resale Market

As a hobby or for light commercial use? I’m a former commercial barista and love my Rocket R58 for a few drinks a day at home. LM is intended for small businesses.

I had it all dialed in. And then suddenly, every shot goes like this. A few seconds of dripping, then an intense spray in every direction, and then it’s over. No matter the bean or the grind size. What gives? [Breville Bambino, Baratza Encore ESP]

Here's the fun thing about espresso. I have a rocket grinder and R58, had it for like a decade it's awesome. Thousands and thousands of lattes through it. I even roast my own beans on a weekly basis. Every bean extracts different. Even the same bean not roasted to exactly the same finish you dialed

[Rocket Appartamento] Bought a used machine today. This is what came out of it. Please clean your machines.

Your newly-acquired machine has clearly found the right home with you! Give it the loving, you’ll be repaid with great espresso. Always heartening to see someone on this sub “bringing one back to life - bravo and thanks for posting your pics! Similar thing for me (pre-Rocket) - I’d bought a lightly-

Wendougee Data S Espresso Machine

I’ve had my setup for the last three months and couldn’t be happier with the machine. Went from a Rocket R58 to the Wendougee and you cannot compare the two. Rock solid build, excellent machine!

Used Rocket R58 V2, or Flair 58 Plus 2? [No budget]

That sounds like the exact same verbiage I used in the ad for my rocket 58 on Facebook Marketplace. I also have it listed here on Reddit on the coffee swap subreddit. I'm not sure who told you I would sell it for $1,500 but the current price is $1850 local or $2,000 shipped. That said, you're lookin

Downgrading to Bambino Plus [£200]

Totally understand you. I have also have a flair 58 and actually use that more than than the rocket now for drinking straight espresso for the reasons you mentioned. If you were willing to fuss with some kind of stand alone steamer system maybe the flair could work for you. Plus, you get to pressure
