Continue to wait for fellow espresso series one, or move on to something else? [$3,500]
Absolutely go for a something a bit nicer. Fellow makes great products but if you’re buying a machine that should last 15+ years you don’t want something made primarily of plastic. I’ve got an R58 and it’s a workhorse. Bianca is a great option too. Decent is the way to go if you want customization.

If La Marzocco is the Ferrari of espresso machines, what is your machine like?

First ever coffee setup
Went straight to an endgame setup. Nice. I have that same grinder, and so far I like it a lot. I have a Rocket R58, but the Profitec is a great choice, too. Congrats! Edit: I realized my Timemore is the 78s. Still, solid design.

Rocket or Lelit
I can't say much about cons, but both are more than capable of running in a commercial setting. Coffee Central (distributor of Lelit Bianca) said that it can run 100 cups comfortably in a day. I've run 100++ cups handling events (mobile coffee cart) with a Rocket R58. So it would be easy to do 1-4 c

AMA. I work in a shop selling espresso machines. Ask me anything!
I've had my Rocket R58 for 12 years, and the only issue I've had was caused by a smart outlet I had it connected to.

Do that many people really have almost 7k to spend on a machine?
20 years with a Rancilio Sylvia, and Mazzer Mini. Gave the Sylvia to my sister, still in daily use. Bought the Rocket R58 to replace it and 6 years later it’s solid. May upgrade the grinder but that’s about it for me.I still can’t make latte art

Lelit Elizabeth water leaking while backflush
These machines come with that thick black gasket. I know as I've used the 'beth with it for years, I recenly upgraded to a silicone gasket from Amazon, on advice from someone on this sub, and the handle action is so much smoother now. Well worth the $9 paid. I say you swap out the OEM gasket for the

Rocket R Cinquantotto upgrade to La Marzocco Línea Mini
Alright I had to think about this for a while and I think it comes down to a series of tradeoffs and mild advantages. To be totally clear and upfront, both the R58 and the LMLM can make excellent espresso. I'm going to try to keep this short, so I'll try to just give a list of differences and why I

Are the high end DB machines really worth it?
While this is basically true, the maraX is not a classic HX machine. It has a quite clever brew-priority PID that has a second temp-sensor in the brewing circle and thus offers good temperature control and lacks the need for cooling-flushes.Is a DB Machine like a RocketR58 better than the mara? Parting ways with my Robot
That’s just another mechanical lever machine like the robot. Where’s the pump driven espresso machine that doesn’t use plastic? If one of your core arguments is not wanting plastic parts, then outside of the manual espresso machines, such as the robot, you will pretty much find nothing, no matter ho
