Rancilio Silvia Deal?

First of all this is a model that has been moded with a pid and it's either a V3 or a V4 one which was last manufactured a lot more than 3 years ago 2016 was the last time they made them. So when they advertise "3 years old" I am not sure what they mean. Take a look here and ask them more about the

Vilken kaffe/espressomaskin är bäst? Någon kaffeälskare som har svaret?

Rancilio Silvia. Klassiker. Grym. Bäst av alla maskiner. Gaggia Classic.

You guys helped me once and now i gratefully and humbly ask for one more advice. [600]

Forget la marzocco are just for coffee shops, at home pointless for 1-3 coffees per day and lack a lot of modern features. Is a gaggia clsssic an upgrade regarding your current entry setup? Absolutely, but they need 9 bar mod to be better. I would invest the money into really good quality beans, try

What would be your “one-and-done” espresso machine?

I think it will just depend on if my kids grow up to like espresso drinks, then I'm gonna need to get something dual boiler and maybe with a grind by weight grinder. Otherwise my Rancilio Silvia and Eureka Mignon Zero is perfect for making two drinks in the morning for my wife and I.

Ultimate cheap setup!

I'm also a former barista and had the same setup until really recently. It's a decent combination. I'd recommend upgrading the steam wand to a rancilio Silvia wand. The wand costs about $20 online and takes about an hour to replace. There's videos online detailing how to do it.

Does the Robot actually make better coffee?

2 years ago, I had a Rancilio Silvia PID mods and I bought the Robot to play the weekend with pressure/flow profiling. Right at the start my shots were better and always drinkable compared to the Silvia. I sold the Silvia fews week after because she was no more attractive. Lever are more forgiving,

Joined the espresso game

Nice start! Rancilio Silvia is a great machine for modding - a better host than the often used Gaggia classic for sure. More room in the case, any easy to disassemble it to the frame to expose the internals! Is the scale connected in for brew-by-weight?

Ditching Nespresso for real espresso. Don't know where to start, help me build a setup [$500-2k]

Low end rec: Machine: ($300-$500) Breville Bambino plus or non-plus Grinder: ($200-$215) df54 preferably but baratza encore ESP another good option Notes: obvious drawbacks of the Bambino is the size. Smaller drip tray means you'll have to empty more often, smaller reservoir means you'll have to ref

Identification and frother

I think that’s the same as my Gaggia, 2013. You may be able to fit the Rancilio Silvia steam want onto this machine. Big upgrade.
