Unless you very specifically want to do the gaguino/gagimate mod, I would personally steer away from the Gaggia Classic. A machine like the Turin Legato v2 (aka MiCoffee Apex v2) is loaded with much more functionality out of the box. I don't think it makes sense to get a machine without PID temp con

love it. There's a great deal of ignorance when influencers and / or the hive mind of the internet "goes after" a particular machine. So often it's about non Italian built machines. When one has looked inside a Breville, , Delonghi, Garvee, Casabrews one will see varied mixtures of materials and con

I love my Turin Legato v2. It does everything I could want it to. I don't see myself upgrading anytime soon.

Even just switching between cafe and decaf is a huge pain in these combo machines. for $300-500 range,

Well I bought the Turin Legato V2 (I'm in the UsA). I was either going to get the Gaggia or the Gemilai 3007Z (Turin Legato V2 or MiCoffee Apex V2 in these parts). Gaggia interested me due to it's long solid reputation but I wanted to be able to adjust things as my tastes change in coffee every so o

Sure there are plenty of good machines to make Espresso. There are plenty of decent grinders in the $250 to $400 range. Take a look at the Turin Legato V2 for an espresso machine (about $450 in the USA) or the MiCoffee Apex V2 Take a look at Eureka grinders and read up on changing burrs to Espresso

Just gonna say that the grinder is arguably more important of the two though less so if you’re making milk drinks. I’ve got a Gemilai 3007Z (same as the Turin Legato V2 etc) that I got for $450 shipped. My grinder is a df54 that I got in the first wave and it’s been pretty decent for the price besid
