All of those that you mentioned do exactly the same things: belay with single or double ropes, rappel on single or double ropes, and "guide mode" belay from the top anchor. They're all great, so you could pick any of them and be fine. Alternatively you could look into getting an assisted belay devic

Get a petzl neox. It'll allow you to belay the same way you're used to with the ATC, with the added benefit of good assisted belaying.

Care to explain your disregard for Neox for multipitch? Petzl has sanctioned it for belay from above. I don’t know where the idea came from that it can’t be used for top manger systems, as it doesn’t appear to have come from Petzl.

Point to where I say the critiques of the vergo or tube devices are mechanical? I highlighted user habits with regard to hand and body placement. The vergo is designed for you to stand parallel with the wall, it is users who choose not to. All of the devices are designed for you to control the brake

Skip Petzl’s products. Better camming products exist (Trango Vergo or Edelrid Pinch), so there’s no reason to consider a grigri family. Similarly, if the goal of the Neox is “tube style” simplicity, get a tube. Many brands offer semi auto locking (same class as Petzl’s products) without moving parts
