Beginner dad: What’s the best hybrid camera hybrid (S9 vs other options) for my situation?

I use my camera almost exclusively for family life. 10 bit video, reliable human tracking and good stabilization are the main things to look for in a hybrid dad cam. I wouldn’t recommend an OM-5 or GX9 for your use, because they both lack 2 out of the 3 things I mentioned above. I’ve owned an E-M10

Brand new in box GH5II worth $700?

But the GH6 would wow the photographer on a number of fronts! Just for starters, a newer sensor with lower-light sensitivity and said by many to exhibit Panasonic’s best color science among those in the G and GH range plus even S5ii and S5iiX/S1Hiie, up to 13 Stops of dynamic range; Plus there’s sti

Is Sony still the low light king?

i shot northern lights with the A7s II and felt the same about that noise reduction. the FX3 and A7s III are better but still have some of that digital feel in shadows. for organic noise the Panasonic GH5S or S5 II actually give you a more filmic grain structure in low light. also look at the Nikon

How do you handle lighting changes when filming a live dance show?

Hi, have a similar problem. 4 LUMIX S5II(X) at night events running 10h straight. I set them on aperture priority, to have a fixed look. Set it for the brightest situations not to over expose, darker areas can be saved in post. And let the cams handle the rest with ISO and shutter speed. Not ideal,

Which should I get for family travel and documentary, G9ii or S5ii?

I used to have the Oly EM5 Mk2 but switched to the Panasonic s5 and now have upgraded to the s5ii solely because of real time luts. The s5ii just has so much better low light performance compared to any M43 and full frame in general just gives you a lot of leeway in terms of cropping without too muc

Sony vs Canon vs *Fujifilm?

Adding onto this because I got mentioned, If you can find the XH2s for a cheap price, go for it, however the xs20 offers the same exact video specs for significantly cheaper you’d just be missing the stacked sensor. The XH2s is basically a glorified APSC S5II with no 4k 60 crop. The noise performanc

What camera may be the best within an $1800 limit? (Including those that may be found for this price or similar on fb, mecari, or other) Student.

No love for the Lumix S5ii? I wish the second native iso was as high as it is for the FX3 but apart from that i think it’s a great option

Reality hit after film school: no more gear to borrow. What’s the smartest first camera setup on a budget?

Sony Alpha (I think the A7 IV), and that size and form factor Do you need realiable video autofocus yes or no? Thats a really important ques

Nikon Z8 Information Request

The answer is a resounding YES. I use a Nikon Z8 for wildlife, macro and night photography. For wildlife, the latest 3.10 firmware provide the best bird tracking experience. Combined with 3D tracking, it's almost laughingly point and shoot. Whereas with my older E-M1X, a MFT camera that I also bird
