Lumix S5ii manual Reddit S5ii Tips S5ii Setup and Settings Congrats! It’s a great camera. You just need to work your way thru it. I suggest you review each menu item, one at a time, and then go learn about it if you don’t understand it. Happy Shooting!

Help- I'm starting a podcast and I suck with cameras.

Camera “phone” or if you have a budget g85 with mechanical lens for cheap. Medium budget Panasonic s5ii and a lens. Audio need shure 7mb or similar based on budget xlr is king. Good mixer so many options. Just make sure it’s 32 bit float. Helps in post Editing. Davinci…. That’s all you need!

I hope this would be true..

The cheap camera will be something useless that no one cares about. I have a theory that the more expensive camera could be the small modern MFT camera everyone wants. A few YouTubers I follow have been mysteriously pimping out MFT all of a sudden. Being given GH7 by Panasonic to “test” out of nowhe

Over-processed image of the S5iix / S1ii ?

By all accounts you can get a more organic image by shooting Pro-Res and Raw formats, but these come with huge file sizes. H264 and H265 file sizes are so much more reasonable for so many workflows - and I have also noticed the difference going from an S1 / S1H to an S5II. Up-voting this because its

Will Lumix and Leica ever make a rangefinder camera?

Both companies have put MFT on life support. I don’t want to say it’s impossible, but I do think it’s basically impossible. I expect Panasonic will only make large professional cameras, on MFT or FF, using the G9II/S5II body shape. They are clearly committing to that body for consistency in professi

New Lumix TZ-300 leaked

Panasonic literally said after last years’ S1s that the no other flagship camera is coming in at least 2 years so the only informations about S1HII are from people who just wishes it to be truth lol Why would you be disappointed? What do you think new S1s are lacking? Heck, even S5II? Its 2026, almo

New camera (fx30 or s5ii?)

The S5ii does everything the fx30 does besides 4K120p. The additional features of the S5ii/x make it the obvious choice if you aren't already invested into lenses. Anyone saying L mount is lacking lenses hasn't looked into it in a while, Sigma has basically everything covered now and the Panasonic S

Why is the G9ii more expensive than the S5ii?

S5ii is Panasonics entry level full frame camera made using quite an older sensor that. The g9ii is a more niche product but also a higher end model, just that its a m4/3 which some will see as a crippled camera. I personally would take gh7 over a s5ii anyday of the week

Full Frame as a hobbyist?

I did because I'm ridiculous and wanted to treat myself. It's been so much more work than a beginner dslr to figure out and program a "one size fits most" mode, and only I can see the difference in the photos locally since they always get compressed online, even in dedicated cloud storage, but whate

Q: You can choose only two LUMIX cameras to shoot with for the rest of your life. What two do you choose??

I would go for the S5ii and the GX9 - my heart will always prefer M4/3 but I'm not convinced Panasonic feels the same, so the sensible thing to do is have a full frame system as well. The S5ii might not be as compact as the S9 but I still want a mechanical shutter on my camera.
