Senior Vice President Tazuhiro Togashi and Director of Product Planning Hiroki Koyama Not exactly "OM Reps". That suggests some low grade Marketoid. These "dudes" are "nosebleeder" - called that because they are so high up in the company, the thin air up there could cause nosebleeds. So these statem

Welcome . I just got myself a om-d e-m10 mark ii as well but I havent really tried it yet. I moved from a canon eos 100d and I totally love m43. I just don't know where to start ๐ I'm a total beginner and I think the omd is a lot more complicated

Finally i can help here. I bought the 12-40 f2.8 Exactly for wide field astro , and its great. I shoot at f2.8 and i dont get any star strecthing on the corners unlike sigma lens ive tried. if you're doing widefield astro at 12mm shoot 8 second exposures to eliminate star trailing without tracker. If this is your first M43 camera, it'll be fine. My first M43 was a slightly older but very similar Lumix GF6. It was a nice introduction to the system, and I had a lot of fun with it. The only limitation was the lack of a viewfinder. And yet I took that thing on trips all over the place and got tho

Funny. I own an OM-1 and am looking at S5's at the moment as an affordable full frame body. Anyhow, you will not fetch a good price for that S5 since they've been so heavily discontinued. Also, keep in mind the crop factor when adapting glass to M43. You will be zoomed in 2x. I wouldn't really switc

Hi, the E-M10III is still a great camera. I personally use an E-M10II for EDC and it's still a great little body. Now, if most of your photography is travel etc, I could probably see how you could benefit for an upgrade, especially when it comes to the new capabilities of the newer sensors and proce

The Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV is currently an excellent value purchase ($599 In the states), but the GX9, Gx85 and OM5 have some really useful features. I use a GX1 and OM-D E-M10 Mark ii on trips.

Agreed. I have an E-M10 Mark II for its compactness and good IBIS. I have a G95D for its better handling with long lenses & Dual IS. My lenses are a gallimaufry. The only two I think about replacing are the 14-42 mm R II and the 75-300 mm. The 14-42 because it's a bit meh compared to my 12-60 Lumix,

Having had cameras with IBIS (Olympus E-M10 IV) and cameras (D500, and a bunch of film cameras) without it I will never buy a digital camera without it again. It has pretty much replaced my tripod and I only need it for shots over 1/2 a second. As for the whole stopping motion thing the other commen
