Is this camera (Canon M50) good for beginners at this price point? I've been wanting to get into photography and I have absolutely no prior experience so any advice is really appreciated:)

When I was buying my first camera I looked at Canon, I think M50 and I did not like controls - there was only one control wheel for exposure/aperture/shutter speed. Sony a6000 if I remember has separate control wheels for exposure and shutter/aperture. And in general is I think more advanced camera.

I have the money for a full frame camera for the first time since having kids. I start looking at the Z5ii and R10 and then the lenses and realize I don't want to spend almost $4,000 on a camera and lens. Does anyone also feel fine with M43 but get scared away with prices on FF?

Scared, no. Sensible, yes. I wanted to get an interchangeable lens camera some years ago. I'd been using good digital compacts since I stopped using film in the 00s. I looked around, and the simplest, cheapest, lightest ILCs were the GX85 and the E-M10 Mark II. Frankly, they were identical for my pu

Choosing a first camera with a budget of £450?

I think you've done great research. I've owned many camera's over the years and the EM10ii has been one of them. It has been the single best bang for buck body I've owned in my life. Looking for a Good Beginner M43 Camera – Any Recommendations?

I’d recommend Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II. Or even the Mark I which is even cheaper. Really solid camera that is still very capable but affordable used. Very light weight. You should have enough room in your budget to get a solid lens. Something like the Lumix 12-32mm kit lens which is really good an

Olympus OM system for product photography?

I don’t do nature photography and have used my OM-1 & E-M10 ii for everyday uses as well as a little street. If you need weather proof I’d say got OM1 or OM3 & get a 17mm 1.8 ii or a weather sealed Pro lens that matches what you are looking for. If you want to use OM System I think you should just g

Olympus OM-D E-M 10 Mark II Upgrade

I had an E-M10 (the original) for years and just upgraded to an E-M1 mark iii. I'm really happy with the decision; it's just a much sturdier camera to hold in the hands; its more balanced if you have the heavier zoom lens; it has tons of great capabilities and a much longer battery life. It also has

Compact Cameras buying advice

With 500 EUR, you can probably jump straight to mirrorless and skip getting a compact. That'll be way more versatile and better value for money. I'd say go for the E-m10 II with the 14-42 pancake zoom lens. That's a portable beginner friendly body. The stills are lovely and it's full of physical con
