Hi, the E-M10III is still a great camera. I personally use an E-M10II for EDC and it's still a great little body. Now, if most of your photography is travel etc, I could probably see how you could benefit for an upgrade, especially when it comes to the new capabilities of the newer sensors and proce

The Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV is currently an excellent value purchase ($599 In the states), but the GX9, Gx85 and OM5 have some really useful features. I use a GX1 and OM-D E-M10 Mark ii on trips.

The D7100 is quite bulky compared to the mirrorless these days, it's undoubtedly a great camera but the learning curve might be a bit steep for a beginner The E-M10 ii with the 2 kit zoom mighe be more suitable for a beginner and easier to carry around. https://www.mpb.com/en-eu/product/olympus-om-d

For a total beginner I'd say look out for an E-M10 mark II and go with that. It's small, feels great in the hand with good stabilisation and stills autofocus in good light, and comes in substantially cheaper a lot of the time - I see them to for 150-200€ regularly and it's easily worth that even if

Honestly it is a beast but it is really manageble. It's only if I put the 12-40 back on I realize how heavy it is: 880 grams. I used to feel like this when I switched from the kit lenses to the 12-40mm f2.8 pro which felt like a block of lead on my camera. My E-M10 Mark II broke down last year just
