All of these are valid concerns and ones I agree with, but Nikon specifically released this camera at $2200 to start to take this corner of the market, so you’re just not going to get everything right off the bat. Seriously: Who cares about raw? It’s a format that makes sense if you shooting with a bigger production. But a fx5 / Nikon ZR / Blackmagic is not a camera I would choose for a more serious production anyway This small cameras are for small crew, run and gun, and I don’t want to think about the file

Quick note since many of your points are video recording specific: Likely in a bid to split the capabilities of cameras, Nikon also made the ZR, which is basically a Z6iii with no viewfinder and some shaving off of camera features in exchange for loads of video specific features, including 3D LUT. Meanwhile Nikon ZR users constantly complain about the file sizes of RAW. With the cost of data storage today, I'd much rather have compressed RAW then a full day shoot requiring 7tb's of hard drive space.

Agree with u/RudeWolf. Of the two, the Z6iii wins hands down. Also, if you just want video, perhaps consider the Zr. It is not my thing, but for a video centric Nikon in a reasonable price range you may want to have a look.
