Help me choose a mirrorless camera, i've been stuck for months?

The Nikon Z5 II is currently the best value full-frame mirrorless camera, with no significant compromises. Definitely consider that. Plenty of good Z mount lenses now.

From Leica to Nikon

The SL3-S is a bit of an oddball. I liked the SL3 when I tested it, it wasn't as fast as Nikon's Expeed 7 systems, but the sensor was truly amazing. I wouldn't buy a SL3-S with a 24mp sensor though. A Zf, Z5II or Z6III would be a better pick here. If you're OK with the 24mp of the SL3-S and focus ma

Sigma announces the 17-40mm F1.8 for RF mount

Yeah, discussions about exposure and noise equivalence had me thinking about the future of APS-C for a while now. I think what made the Sigma 18-35 so important to DSLR users back in the day was that it provided full-frame performance to crop sensors at a time when full-frame DSLRs were truly prohib

I see Nikon Z but there are different models? Which Model? I am trained on SLR and DSLR. Would be for portraiture, family and wedding.

Nice. I have a Z5 II and it's great, it's more camera than I will ever truly need, fantastic value, and I do like the slightly nicer full-frame look, although I am sure I would be very happy with a Z50 II, and I must admit sometimes the size and especially weight of the full-frame system can be a lo

Will price of Nikon Z5ii drop before the end of the year?

Just ordered mine. To be honest, the value proposition of the Z5 II seems too good to be true as it is, even before considering tariffs. No other brand is providing a FF camera this full-fledged at this price currently in my opinion. Even if there is miraculously a sale somehow this year, I won’t re

What cameras are good for car Photography

If you want to start fairly cheaply, but still with a very capable camera, you can buy Nikon Z5 and Tamron 70-300mm. I will post pictures later, but I was at Imola with this combo and have gotten some pretty awesome shots. You could probably find them used, but even new they are fairly affordable de

Dilemma with aspect ratios. Should I switch over to 3:2 after shooting 16:9 for 9 years?

I think you can just shoot raw only and not worry about a separate JPG file. Am I correct to assume that your lighting conditions do not change until a new set? Just shoot raw and then just batch process them all with the same settings. The 2000D should be able to do this. The only issue I have with

Need suggestion on 85mm for my Z6 II

I’m looking for an 85mm lens for my Z5 II, which will mostly be used for wedding portraits. This will be my first 85mm lens. I have been shooting weddings on a D3300 (an APS-C DSLR) with 18-55mm, 55-200mm, 18-135mm, and DX 35mm f/1.8G lenses for the past 12 years. I recently got the Z5 II with the 2

Anybody else love M system but just can’t fit it into their workflow?

LOL hi fellow dad. I have kids and my eyes are deteriorating making the rangefinder patch increasingly hard to use. Not to mention the fact that of all my rangefinders the only rangefinder patch smaller than my M6 and M10 is the one in my Olympus XA. I also regularly shoot a Ricoh GR4, Fuji X100V, L

Central Park, first time birding

I used a Sony a1 ii, and a 200-600mm lens, and honestly it depends on budget. For 4k you could get a Nikon z5 ii and the right lens for the job, 2.5k you could get a Sony a6700 with a sigma 16-300mm, sub 1k you can do a cannon r50 with the zoom lens kit
