Opinions on Nikkor 24-120 F4 vs the newer Tamron 35-100 F2.8 - Nikon ZF

the 24-120 F4 is one of the greatest all around lenses Nikon has ever made. Mine only leaves my body (z5ii) for telephoto or if I just want to bop around with a small prime (I have the 40mm f/2 as well). You will not be disappointed. Cannot speak to the Tamron other than to say it doesn't get the ac

Z50II vs Z5II

I moved from Z50 II to Z5 II. I value IBIS more. My other cameras have IBIS and I couldn't go back to a body without IBIS. As for the size, with 40mm, 28mm and 75mm primes the Z5 II isn't that big of a camera. AF performance is a wash between two. Lens selection for Z DX is pretty small and no prime

Nikon Z70

Nikon can barely be bothered to ship any crop sensor lenses. If they shipped a higher end crop camera, it would cost as much as a Z5 II and appeal to almost no one.

Is the Z50 II the right upgrade from a D3400?

I've never handled a Z50 ii. I have a Z6 iii. It was kind of surprising to me that the Z50 ii and the Z5 ii both have most of the features of my more expensive Z6 iii. Nikon didn't cripple it's capabilities, they only left out a few things due to the camera's hardware differences. ~~~ The answer is:

Thinking of Switching FROM Fuji to Nikon

I’m not familiar with Fuji, but I’ve been a lifetime Nikon user and just got the Z5 ii. It’s great so far, I’m super happy with how my photos have come out. I’ve been focusing on landscapes a lot recently. I got the Nikkor Z 24-120 F4 and a Viltrox 14mm F/4. Both are great for travel and it’s just a

Need some expert advice on two combos? Z50II+16-50 /f2.8 DX vs Z5II+24-120/f4

I have the Z50ii with the 16-50 kit lens (not the f/2.8 lens that you are thinking about). I also have the Z6iii with the 24-120. Here is my take: For a lightweight and portable kit you can't beat the Z50ii + 16-50 f/2.8 combo (825g vs 1,250g of the Z5ii + 24-120. As for low light performance, there

Nikon releases the NIKKOR Z 24-105mm f/4-7.1

B&H has this lens listed for $546.95 and also as a new kit lens for the Z5 II. This lens offers a more versatile range over the 24-50 kit lens but cheaper than the 24-120 f/4. The f/7.1 minimum aperture at the long end is mind boggling. It seems like Nikon has lost something design wise from the old

Z5II, Z6III or Z7II

I would go Z6iii. Yea the 5ii is a very good value, but the 6iii has a better viewfinder, battery life, the little info window on top which I’ve found mandatory for my cameras, higher shutter speed. Etc. check it out here: https://photographylife.com/comparison/nikon-z5-ii-vs-nikon-z6-iii

Nikon removed English language on their new Nikon Bodies that they sell in Japan (OG Z5 has English out of the box)

Yup. I have an A7CII that I unlocked the languages. I actually prefer what Nikon is doing compared to Sony's "Overseas Models" which are like 25% more expensive compared to their Japan model. A7CII + Kit Lens (Overseas Model) = $2,367~ A7CII + Kit Lens (Japan Model) = $1,813~ Edit: Cheapest Z5 II in

Nikon Z6II or canon?

Also if it's in your budget, get the Nikon Z5II, it's newer than the Z6II and performs much better
