Z50II vs Z5II
I moved from Z50 II to Z5 II. I value IBIS more. My other cameras have IBIS and I couldn't go back to a body without IBIS. As for the size, with 40mm, 28mm and 75mm primes the Z5 II isn't that big of a camera. AF performance is a wash between two. Lens selection for Z DX is pretty small and no prime

Thinking of Switching FROM Fuji to Nikon
I’m not familiar with Fuji, but I’ve been a lifetime Nikon user and just got the Z5 ii. It’s great so far, I’m super happy with how my photos have come out. I’ve been focusing on landscapes a lot recently. I got the Nikkor Z 24-120 F4 and a Viltrox 14mm F/4. Both are great for travel and it’s just a

Need some expert advice on two combos? Z50II+16-50 /f2.8 DX vs Z5II+24-120/f4
I have the Z50ii with the 16-50 kit lens (not the f/2.8 lens that you are thinking about). I also have the Z6iii with the 24-120. Here is my take: For a lightweight and portable kit you can't beat the Z50ii + 16-50 f/2.8 combo (825g vs 1,250g of the Z5ii + 24-120. As for low light performance, there

Z5II, Z6III or Z7II
I would go Z6iii. Yea the 5ii is a very good value, but the 6iii has a better viewfinder, battery life, the little info window on top which I’ve found mandatory for my cameras, higher shutter speed. Etc. check it out here: https://photographylife.com/comparison/nikon-z5-ii-vs-nikon-z6-iii

Nikon removed English language on their new Nikon Bodies that they sell in Japan (OG Z5 has English out of the box)
Yup. I have an A7CII that I unlocked the languages. I actually prefer what Nikon is doing compared to Sony's "Overseas Models" which are like 25% more expensive compared to their Japan model. A7CII + Kit Lens (Overseas Model) = $2,367~ A7CII + Kit Lens (Japan Model) = $1,813~ Edit: Cheapest Z5 II in

Mirrorless equivalent of D7500?
People are going to say Z50ii, but it's a side-grade. You're going to get similar image quality and AF performance in a smaller body with better video, but the end result is the same. Sometimes a slightly smaller package is all it takes to encourage you to use your camera more, but you're pretty muc

From Leica to Nikon
The SL3-S is a bit of an oddball. I liked the SL3 when I tested it, it wasn't as fast as Nikon's Expeed 7 systems, but the sensor was truly amazing. I wouldn't buy a SL3-S with a 24mp sensor though. A Zf, Z5II or Z6III would be a better pick here. If you're OK with the 24mp of the SL3-S and focus ma

Is the Z6III right for me?
TL;DR: If you’re coming from a Canon T7 and want pro-level autofocus without the $2,500+ price tag of a Z6 III or A7 IV, the Nikon Z5 II is the move. 1.Better "Brains" than Sony (The AF Argument) While Sony has historically led the AF game, the Z5 II inherited the EXPEED 7 processor from the flagshi

Help me decide between Z5II and Z6III please
I agonized over the same decision shortly after the Z5ii was released. In the end, I went with the Z6iii. Several things swayed me in that direction. First, the Z6iii has a superior viewfinder, which I’ve found to be a real pleasure to use. I also like the top LCD screen, since all of my previous ca

Is the Z6iii worth the money over Z5ii?
Get the z5-ii, spend the money you save on good glass. I upgraded from a D7200 to a Z5-ii, and have no reason to upgrade for the next decade unless Nikon magically creates a global shutter, instant AF camera with perfect subject detection and an open source control bridge via USB-C, with a second US
