I have loads of old lenses for my film cameras. I have adapted them to my Fuji a few times. Tbh though, I ended up buying a Nikon Zf for this purpose. It's super annoying not getting the full field of view on these classic lenses without using speed boosters etc. Full frame is much better for this.

I switched from Fuji to a zf. Previously, I was in the f Mount Nikons, but I wouldn’t recommend going that route on a z camera. There’s the ftz adapter but it’s going to be pretty top heavy. I originally picked up the 28mm and 40mm. I’ve always been a prime guy and those are great, but I found mysel

Yes, it is worth it. I’m in the same position as you, taking photos of my kids, dog and wife. Toddlers run around a lot, so autofocus lenses are great. But manual focusing my old OM lenses have been great for birth-to-crawling and then again for the late single digits where the subject understands “

Sure. I shop needs not brand. For me a capable camera that was smaller was my goal. I bought mft as a beginner camera and loved it. It’s enough for most people. I switched to Fuji for film sims and slightly bigger sensor size. Now looking at Nikon cause they have tons of good cheaper glass (vintage)

Most any newer mirrorless camera is going to be faster and more accurate than the D610 so any of these options will be a worthwhile upgrade. If you don’t need the shallower depth of field or the low light capability -to compensate for shutter speed- of full frame then get the Fujifilm. If you need a f

People love the fuji system for it's portability, image recipes but it is a micro 3/4 I believe others love the Nikon ZF as an example cause it looks manual you really get to understand how photography works and it's a full frame on top of that with an adapter you can find some really old lenses tha

Il full frame e migliore per adaptare lentiche vintage ma Nikon Zf è meglio di entrambe

Sure! My Nikon D700 is full frame and paints magically. My Nikon Zf lets me adapt vintage lenses and have fun. You don't NEED it. You can pick it for reasons

Not worth it IMO. Go full frame if you want to shoot vintage lenses. I just picked up the Nikon Zf for that reason. Typically shoot Olympus M43.

Because you mentioned travel, do some research on the sizes and weight of Nikon lenses. There’s only a handful of small/light-ish lenses.. the rest are HUGE. I had a x100T and went to a Zf for better af and low light performance, and because it’s full frame I can adopt my vintage lenses. When I trav
