The DF54 is a white label product. Could be ‘Turin,’ ‘MiiCoffee’ or ‘DF Grinders’ they’re all the same product from the same factory. It grinds well but has a significant retention problem requiring continuously cleaning up grounds, banging the machine and puffing the lid during grinding to get consistent dosing. I always hear good things about the MiiCoffee/Turin grinders, except for minor retainage and power issues. If I was starting from scratch on a budget, I'd definitely get the DF54. But by the time you get up to the DF64 or DF83 budgets, other premium models seem to get better reviews.

I bought the metal one at miicoffee over a month ago and now no more clumping. Zero issues where before I was about to toss my df54 in the trash. But even shipping in usa was stupidly over priced. To add to the clean the chute advice, I had the same issue and did the same clean etc only to have it immediately clog again. My issue appeared to be the declumper which is two pieces of plastic at the head of the chute that had been deformed. I took them off, placed them under some weighted coaster

No, I don't have v3 which is why I suspect they did something to the declumper. Even on mine, the ground doesn't collect that much near the needles but on top of the declumper. But it is dislodged very quickly with the bellows. 0.1g-0.2g retention A bit of researching specifically for DF54 declumper
