Help me choose

Auto tamping seems kind of….stupid to me. Tamping essentially is just pressing down on the coffee, and generally requires no more than 30lb of pressure so really most people shouldn’t physically struggle with it. The tricky part comes more from having the coffee grounds distributed/spread properly b

First time Everything, any advice helps [USD $1200 for both]

Uh….interesting list of grinders. I would say only the Baratza Encore ESP and the Fellow Opus would typically show up as recommended by coffee enthusiasts. Honestly, for a bit more, I’d probably get the MiiCoffee DF54 grinder (~$250) especially for a smaller kitchen. Probably one of if not the best

[DF54] New Modified Replacement Declumper. Tested - Works

I bought a DF54 from mii coffee as well. They’re sending me a plastic shim for the exit of the grinder and suggested following their video to flatten the declumper to around 5°. Reach out to them. They’ll try to help at least. I haven’t had as bad of a problem since I tried their suggestions.

I know the famous breville barista but it is a coffee machine with an integrated grinder, which you don't need cause you already have the coffee machine. I personnaly went with the DF54 from miicof

New DF54 Chute Available at MiiCoffee

I’m guessing the chute you posted is definitely not the one on your DF54? Id ask MiiCoffee for the upgrade for free or even return it and get an upgraded one. They did such a terrible job comparing the models and making it clear what version it was by calling it v4 when in reality there’s only been

This is misalignment, right?

You know we’re in the DF54 sub right? It’s a Turin branded one though. Wish I took a pic of the area under the burrs, there’s space but so little of it that it makes getting a shim to lay there very hard. The weirder thing is in the MiiCoffee video for this, they put the shims to the sides, not unde

Get the most out of my current machine or invest my money in something better?

This is the cheapest grinder you won't regret if you get into making espresso: https://miicoffee.shop/products/miicoffee-df54-single-dose-coffee-grinder-open-box
