It seems so unreasonable to carry one around all day

I have a 17 inch LG Gram. Great screen size, still lightweight. I just don't find 12-13 inch screens big enough to be useful for anything I can't do on my phone, and having a laptop big enough for a number pad on the keyboard is important to me too as I use it extensively for the work I do.

Minipc or Laptop? Which is better for a home office setup?

If you are tied to your desk at home then either works but you can also get a keyboard and mouse. Otherwise laptop for sure. I have an LG Gram 17” in that fits in my smaller carrying bag, yet has the full keyboard plus number keyboard and weighs under 3 pounds. So I don’t need to attach a monitor ke...

First time using linux, starting with Mint. Why does Linux feel slower than Windows?

My experience differs, mint feels fast and light compared to windows 11. LG Gram 17, decent specs. There has been a learning curve to be sure, but smarter people than I have been tackling the same issues so I know it will get sorted out.

Would you still buy an LG Gram in 2025, be honest and not sentimental!

what other 16-17 inch laptops are out there with this battery life, lunar lake and this light ? doesn't seem to be that are any alternatives if these are your priorities i'm tired of caring 13.-14inch bricks on vacantions, my back is thankful to lg gram

Linux hardware tier list

I'm confused by some choices here. Why would LG Gram and Vaio be above Dell? Do Either LG or Vaio ship laptops with Linux? Because Dell absolutely does.

14inch vs 16inch for coding, and carrying it in my backpack daily.

Plenty of bad advice in these comments. Most backpacks will go up to 16 inches. There are plenty of good options. The LG gram 16 is one of them. Acer Swifts and HP Omnibooks are another.

Laptop for Solo Practitioner

LG Gram 17 Super awesome laptops with a 16:10 aspect ratio and normal number pad. Having a 16:10 is awesome.

ThinkPad X9-15 Aura “Moonlight White” Limited Edition Review

at 1.46kg it’s significantly heavier than the LG Gram 16 (1.2kg) Having had a couple Grams, as long as it is better built, it is not a drawback. Grams are paperweight because they're also as well built as paper.

Revised Poll: How wearable do you find EG straps/harness?

I put 3. I really adore Evergoods design language, and their bags work for my use case. But I'm not sure I'd buy another at this point, and am actively looking to replace a few. I had the CTB20 as my EDC/work bag and decided it was too bulky and big so I swapped it out for the CPL24. The CPL24 was f...
