Are we all doomed

I have two FW13's and a £3k MacBook Pro. I am still happy to use the Lenovo T440p I got years ago for £200 (admittedly I replaced the screen, WiFI and CPU later on!). Have a wee think about taking maybe £400-£800 and seeing which Lenovo T-series you can get that meets your needs. I can still get a l

Got my first ThinkPad for $20, Turns out it has a Nvidia card

Love the T440p more than any other thinkpad, literally the best model lenovo ever made. You should get at least a 65W charger for this thing to work properly, it has a power hungry CPU and it really needs it. Very unlikely to be a faulty motherboard.

My thinkpad t440s

For me, I got started on ThinkPads when my dad got an T61 in 2006. Although he doesn't have it anymore, that was my literal introducti

Old ThinkPad to refurb as a daily carry?

It depends on how important battery life is for you. You're not going to be able to get genuine Lenovo batteries for these laptops and aftermarket is a real crap shoot in terms of quality. That might not be true for a T480, but I don't own one and haven't looked. A T440p would be easier to mod, supp

Upgrading my t440p. I wish I had done this years ago lol

Yes, everything is still correct except for that the world has moved on, technology has progressed and Renoir-based Ryzen ThinkPads such as the base 4500U E14 are more efficient and greatly outperform a decked out T440p at a similar cost should be replaced with "Thinkpads with the 6th Gen Ryzen and
