Best value speakers by business model

Ilistened to some kef yesterday and am impressed, especially the more affordable ones, like kef q concerto meta for 1200 euros or so, sounded very nice especially nearfiels. With a sub probably all you need

I think sub, two standmount speakers and center speaker are the way to go for movie use in your case. Dialogue clarity is likely best improved by adding some acoustical paneling into the room, it is less about the speakers and more about how quickly the sound dies out in the room. You should look in

Finally got stands for Q Concerto Meta

Late to the party but the SQ1’s are the stands that Kef lists as being for the Q Concerto Meta so you’d think the stands would have mounting holes to match holes in the speakers.

Bookshelf speakers my mother could tolerate? $1.5-3k budget

KEF Q Concerto Meta might also be something to look at. KEF's seem to be designed to work well close to the front wall, which is a point in their favor.

3-way WTMW (concentric or not) designs are still just a bandaid on the true problem with MTM designs. Comb filtering will still be there.
