Been through lots, landed on Sonus Faber Olympica Nova Vs Edit: Longer version. I’ve been an audio enthusiast for 24 years. I started my true hi-fi Journey with Infinity IL10s and still have them to this day. Dad is responsible for spurring me into the hobby with his Martin Logan ESLs way back when.

My mom's bog standard 80s Hitachi amp with 90s paradigm speakers sounds better than my system with KEF R3 Metas. Could be the room it was in.

The kefs are excellent speakers. I think they play well with untreated rooms bc they’re not quite as wide as the bmr. You know you like them, I’d try to listen to r3 meta if you haven’t yet.

Good list. Got the KEF R3 meta myself and love the look. However the Buchardt e50 is one of the best looking out there in my opinion. Love the curved wood cone for the tweeter. https://buchardtaudio.com/products/e50

The Diablos are amazing... Yet Steve Huff, who uses them as his reference speakers, out right said - while testing the KEF R3 Meta:"Did I miss my Focal Diablos while the R3 Meta were in? Well, maybe on a couple of nights but in reality I did not."AND"These speakers sound AMAZING with vinyl, at least
