AVR Suggestion for Q Concerto Meta
So I’m just going to give you a quick run down of my experience with my AVR (Pioneer LX505) and multiple bookshelf speakers I tested (606 S3, Concerto Meta, Klipsch Rp600m II, Polk R200, 602 S1, R3 Meta). All speakers I tested ran into distortion well before my desired SPL. At first, I thought it wa

KEF Q150 + Marantz PM6007 vs KEF LSX ii
No. I have Q1 Meta and LSX II. LSX II is better. With a built-in amp and DSP KEF can tune their components together, allowing them to work to their limits without breaking. But passive speaker has to accommodate all types of amps, so it has to play it safe. Even after those precautions Q150 woofer p

AVR Suggestion for Q Concerto Meta
That whole "needs a lot of power" is what I'm trying to dispel. You almost certainly don't and that's why I provided the above approximation. A 200 watt amplifier and a 20 watt amplifier are both delivering the same power to your Kef Concertos at 86dB. The 200 watt amplifier is not delivering more p

My small room listening setup complete
I'm betting that Accuphase e-280 (at least I think that's the integrated amp you have) drives your Kef Q Concerto Metas just fine. Should be more than enough for hours of listening enjoyment.

Help me deciding, question from someone explorer hi-fi for the first time.
I recommend you get great speakers with good amplifier and source. Meaning, most of your budget goes to the speakers. My idea for you is : KEF Q Concerto Meta - 1400$ Buckeye NC502MP power amplifier - 725$ Wiim Ultra streaming preamplifier - 330$ Monolith 24794 speaker stands - 180$ Apple TV 4k with

KEF Concerto Meta amp pairing
I am well aware of the price of KEF Q Concerto Metas, and I am not talking about 'thousands of dollars of room treatments,' I said, 'some room treatment.' And no, I have never touched a Hegel, nor am I bashing it (or the Arcam, Roksan, or Musical Fidelity), I am simply pointing out to the OP that th

Should I keep my B&W 607 S3 or switch to KEF (Q1, Q3, or Concerto)?
I'd go with the KEF Q Concerto Meta's unless you love the B&W house sound. I've heard a few of the KEF QM line & the B&W stuff, I personally find the KEF's to be more accurate and immersive: the coaxial/UniQ on the KEF is really nice. If you're looking for controlled & full bass + a clean sound, the

Speaker Recs for a Marantz 2245?
Please edit your post to include your listening distance. The Marantz 2245 is only 2x45W @ 8Ω. So, depending on how loud you like to listen to, it might be somewhat of a limit at longer listening distances. Consider these models: AsciLab C6B (EAC review) KEF Q Concerto Meta (EAC review) Ascend Acous

Are Kef speakers all that good? {LS60}
Offering a set of LS60's as a replacement for a set of Totem Arro's is weird. The LS50 meta's on stands would be a better option as another set of passive speakers, but from Kef. Or their Q Concerto Meta's. Those LS60's are a just add wifi all in one system. And yes, KEF is a known hifi name, and th
