Another issue is headphone mixers are sometimes too conservative with panning. Try this... Build up a strong mono mix with everything centered. i'm not sure how much they sell in EUR but looks like Kali Audio LP-UNF is around that budget. They have balanced sound because they designed to be as neutral as possible, and they also provide dipswitches to tame the treble.
