Speaker advice - $500 USD Budget - Argentina
I don’t know if there’s really any more “fun” sounding active/powered speakers in your budget. (My recommendations tend to be accurate or neutral sounding products. Maybe you can EQ the sound (on PC) to your liking, if you don’t like neutral.) These are $249 each (i.e. $498 for a pair) on Amazon: Ka

Speakers for a laptop
$300 is not a lot for studio monitors, but there are still a few specific models that measure, and sound better, than their competition in your price range. I'm unsure if tariffs have driven up these prices at all, but the Kali Audio LP-UNF and Adam Audio D3V released at either $300 or $350 and are

Sub to pair with Gallo Micro SE's
Basically through USB is less susceptible to error correction issues like some MoBo coax outputs. I'd say get this DAC - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fosi-Audio-ZD3-Converter-ES9039Q2M/dp/B0DHXBTG8P This pair of LP-UNFs monitors - https://www.andertons.co.uk/kali-4-inch-2-way-powered-loudspeaker-system-

Looking for a good set of pc speakers for around $200-$300
Adam D3V or Kali Audio LP-UNF if you care about how well a speaker measures. If you want a dedicated subwoofer output to expand to 2.1 later, Kanto Ora (or Ora4). Just for the vibes I also like the Creative Labs Pebble Nova, but there's very little data or user stories out there in the wild.

What are the best studio monitors + subwoofer for my budget?
You have to increase your budget if you want to get a good subwoofer too. Note that active studio monitors don’t have subwoofer outputs. Active studio subwoofers are placed in series (they perform high pass filtering for the monitors) with the speakers. Two options for speakers here. And one subwoof

Stuck on deciding for studio monitors
I'd challenge whether you even need to switch to monitors at all.... I've been producing garage/house for about 10 years, mostly on ATH-M50x headphones. I picked up Kali LP-UNFs a few months back. They are great for jamming and reducing ear fatigue.... but I still get better translations from my Aus

Help a noobie with his first near-field setup
Kali Audio LP-UNF (EAC review) Though, please note that the Kali speakers don’t have a subwoofer output. So, if you are later adding one, the signal to the subwoofer must be split bit before the speakers. (E.g. via subwoofer output in your computer’s sound card. Or via analog Y-cables from the input

r1700bt or r2000db?
Maybe try to up your budget and go for some more respected active speakers. For example Kali Audio. (More so from active studio monitors / pro audio music monitoring and mixing side, than hi-fi world. But should still be great for hi-fi. …Anyway, we recommend them here on this subreddit plenty.) Looking for a new speaker set for my setup!
Kali Audio LP-UNF (EAC review) Though, please note that integrating a subwoofer is going to be slightly difficult with products (like the LP-UNF) that don’t have built-in subwoofer outputs. (You can’t touch the built-in volume control knob in the speakers. Or subwoofer’s volume would go out of sync
