Kali Audio’s LP-UNF monitors are absolutely amazing. Reasonably priced and have mind blowing bass response for speakers that small. I can’t recommend them enough.

I don’t know if these are going to be better, or how much better they might be. (A very very generic speaker upgrade advice is, if you want to get to the next level, you need to double your budget. similar story here. I used the optical out and sent it over to a pair of Kali Audio LP-UNFs, which I principally use for mixing work, as a nice little bonus feature for my desk setup. can be handy to compare my mixes to something on a CD, or just to listen to tunes while I work on other things.

Thank you for your extensive reply, I'm going to focus on the PC set-up first: I really like the functionality of these Kali Audio LP-UNF near field monitors, they're € 345 for a pair and I'll need a longer connection cable (€20) to hide it properly as I currently have a 44" 32:9 wide screen set-up
