LF speakers for my boyfriends birthday

You are getting conflicting advice which is probably very irritating haha Ignore the acoustic treatment comment by me earlier, for smaller near field speakers it is not quite so important (although in a dedicated studio room I would always recommend it) and is not practical for you. 4.5" - 6.5" coul

i have been thinking about joining the audiophile lifestyle for some time but..

You might benefit from a pair of active speakers that are relatively good and cheap. Something like Adam D3V, Kali LP-UNF. I'm assuming that this will be something for computer? Those that take signal from PC via USB and require no amplifier purchase, DAC, or any other additional equipment, so this

good entry level monitors and power?

Kali Audio’s LP-UNF monitors are absolutely amazing. Reasonably priced and have mind blowing bass response for speakers that small. I can’t recommend them enough.

Upgrade to Eve Audio SC203?

I don’t know if these are going to be better, or how much better they might be. (A very very generic speaker upgrade advice is, if you want to get to the next level, you need to double your budget. But obviously you can’t rank speaker quality by money/cost alone. Also FYI, currently the Eve Audio SC

Any suggestions on what to improve in my setup?

Hi! Thank you! I wanted to place the interface in the middle, but it has that glossy mirror-like finish, and there's a red LED on the bottom of the monitor, so if I place the interface right below that I will always see the reflection of that light. Plus I constantly plug my guitar and wired headpho

r/audiophile Shopping, Setup, and Technical Help Desk Thread

UPDATE: I suspect I have found the issue. I tried out the Bluetooth feature early on after setting up the speakers, and I just found my phone is auto-connecting to it by bluetooth and possibly overriding its input from my audio interface. ----- Original post below ----- I'm sorry to ask here, but Re

I Never Thought I’d Buy a CD Player Again — Until I Found This One

similar story here. I used the optical out and sent it over to a pair of Kali Audio LP-UNFs, which I principally use for mixing work, as a nice little bonus feature for my desk setup. can be handy to compare my mixes to something on a CD, or just to listen to tunes while I work on other things.

Desktop Setup - Gaming / Movies / Work

Hey there and thank you kindly! I'm also contemplating Kali Audio LP-UNF, as they have been recommended to me a bunch (albeit don't match visually as much as the other options). Would all of the above be good for nearfield? Thank you for considering my aesthetics in your suggestion before - much app

Advice wanted for new PC set-up + main room streamer

Thank you for your extensive reply, I'm going to focus on the PC set-up first: I really like the functionality of these Kali Audio LP-UNF near field monitors, they're € 345 for a pair and I'll need a longer connection cable (€20) to hide it properly as I currently have a 44" 32:9 wide screen set-up
