Looking for recommendations for office work and high quality videos

Geekom IT13 with the i5 13600H CPU. It is currently selling for $600 USD on Amazon. Unfortunately, it's limited to 16 GB of RAM. Another option is GMKtec K8 Plus. Priced around $660 with 32 GB of RAM. It has the Ryzen 7 8845HS CPU which has multi-core performance similar to the M2 Pro laptop.

A high-end mini PC at a bargain price? This is how the Geekom Mini IT13 2025 Edition performs in our test.

Thanks for the review! It was an interesting read. That's some remakably terrible performance for a 13900HK with the power and temperature limit placed. The 13900HK is struggling to stay ahead of a 5800H and generally losing to a 6800H. I see Geekom really hasn't learned from the original IT13 13900

Warning about Geekom

I have a Geekom mini it13 the installed ram was crap. Kept getting blue screen crashes. I've replaced the original ram with Kensington ahd it has so far run well albeit this is not a cheap fix. The repeated crashes trashed the windows 11 build and I've had enormous problems repairing it to the exten

Is the geekom worth it?

I just retired my 8-year old tower PC that was full of leading edge tech, bling, and bells and whistles - from 8 years ago. I just replaced it with a Geekom IT13 mini (so small I could lose it if I had it in my pocket), but it far exceeds the power of the tower. And it has a bigger SSD, and twice as

Hardware Recs

I’ve been wanting to get a friend into PC recording because he only uses Tascam. He does quite well, but I had my sights on a Geekom IT13. There are faster units available, and certainly larger. But the specs are really good, in fact that’s what I use and abuse daily. Costs are dropping monthly, afr

A high-end mini PC at a bargain price? This is how the Geekom Mini IT13 2025 Edition performs in our test.

Hard pass. The Geekom GT1 Mega is better due to a superior iGPU and Wi-Fi 7. However, it is more expensive at $989 USD. On the lower price end, the Geekom A8 is selling for $560 with a far better iGPU. The revised Geekom Mini IT 13 2025 is priced at $749. The Cinebench R24 CPU multi-core scores are

Mini PC for high performance 4k Video editing

It could work, but there are better options. Intel CPUs and their "Quick Synch" feature is better for video editing outside of MacOS software. Those options are with HDMI 2.0 to HDMI 2.1 ports: - Geekom IT13 with the Intel core i9 13900HK CPU ($700 USD) - Geekom IT15 with the Ultra 9 285H CPU ($999

Grandpa wants to get back into photoshop

Does it have to be a laptop? I know you mentioned a trip to visit family, but if he'll mainly be editing at home, would a mini PC with a nice, big monitor work? Maybe a Geekom IT13 with an LG - 27" Monitor QHD IPS 100Hz with HDR10 (HDMI USB-C). The Geekom is on their website at $629 (32GB RAM/1TB st

Which one to buy

I think the GEEKOM IT13 i9-13900HK is the better choice. They offer a 30-day return policy and a 3-year warranty, plus it handles multitasking, demanding projects, and large files with ease. GEEKOM also puts a lot more effort into customer support and feedback compared to other brands. If you’re sti
