My work gave me a choice get a GEEKOM IT13 or Geekbook X16 Pro for free, which one should i choose?

Geekom IT13! It may get a little hot if your code base is large (1000+ lines of code), but it does everything else well among the tasks you mentioned.

GEEKOM SCAM COMPANY

I understand your situation and frustration. On contrary, I’d like to share a very positive experience I had with Geekom. About 2-3 years ago, I purchased one of their most powerful Intel i9-based systems (IT13) via Amazon.de. After roughly a year of use, the PSU failed. I contacted their support, r

Unfortunately I have to go back to Windows 11

If you want something completely barebones (windows), maybe have a go at this:https://atlasos.net/ I'm testing it at the moment and never seen my geekom IT13 blaze so fast :) I gets rid of most (if not all) windows bloat. Good luck!

MS-01 Is a Piece Of Overheating Junk (90+)

That's good you tried replacing the paste. Looking at things, I'd guess windows management is abusing your CPU to run background processes thinking you're not busy. You can tell windows to chill by entering the windows power management window and reducing the processor max state from 100% to 99%. Th

Is the geekom worth it?

I just retired my 8-year old tower PC that was full of leading edge tech, bling, and bells and whistles - from 8 years ago. I just replaced it with a Geekom IT13 mini (so small I could lose it if I had it in my pocket), but it far exceeds the power of the tower. And it has a bigger SSD, and twice as

Hardware Recs

I’ve been wanting to get a friend into PC recording because he only uses Tascam. He does quite well, but I had my sights on a Geekom IT13. There are faster units available, and certainly larger. But the specs are really good, in fact that’s what I use and abuse daily. Costs are dropping monthly, afr

A high-end mini PC at a bargain price? This is how the Geekom Mini IT13 2025 Edition performs in our test.

I had a geekom mini pc i sold to a customer. A it13. He couldn't get his monitor to detect the pc via hdmi. He eventually had to use a usb type C monitor. Then he tried to go through the setup screens. I dont know exactly what he clicked during setup but it was making him download something for a lo

Geekom mini-PC IT13 can't connect via Intel Ethernet Controller I225-V and I226-V

Adding another note. These mini-PC Geekom IT13 do NOT seem to list any information on the motherboard, or at least the 3 models I have checked so far. I checked the BIOS and nothing on the motherboard is listed there. I checked System Info Windows and the Baseboard information only listed "DEFAULT S

Looking for recommendations for office work and high quality videos

Geekom IT13 with the i5 13600H CPU. It is currently selling for $600 USD on Amazon. Unfortunately, it's limited to 16 GB of RAM. Another option is GMKtec K8 Plus. Priced around $660 with 32 GB of RAM. It has the Ryzen 7 8845HS CPU which has multi-core performance similar to the M2 Pro laptop.
