A9 Max

I bought a GEEKOM A9 Max for myself to game on. My previous mini is good, still is, but my games like Sims and Fortnite were not doing so well anymore on it with the recent updates. I came to this thread being extremely annoyed with the fan noise since I'm very sensitive to noise. It's been my only disappointment with the machine. Hi, thanks for the concern! After rigorous testing, the CPU of GEEKOM A9 Max stays around 70°C under full load, and the SSD never approaches the 80°C overheating threshold. We also use thermal pads on the SSD to help with cooling. So far, no issues with SSD or memory overheating. Hope this helps!

Yo estoy esperando una Respuesta de Geekom, me llego ayer lo use solo para configurar 1 vez y luego lo deje en hibernacion, cuando colvi a la hora lo prendi incio y empezo a calentarse al punto de oler a quemado puse mi mano encima y casi me quedo no entiendo que paso? lo apague y lo inicie nuevamen

The paradox here is memory. To achieve parody with Apple's unified memory support & the absence of LPCAMM, like Apple soldered LPDDR5/LPDDR5x memory produces the closest maximum bandwidth. Otherwise one is stuck with slower, higher power consumption/heat dissipation SODIMM. Geekom's only LPDDR5x mPC
