Just learned something I thought I would share

In addition to lots of water, I added an electrolyte drink every day (I buy the little Gatorade Zero packets,& dissolve one in a pint of water) and it has made a big difference. I’m mad at myself that it took me years to work out that if I was sweating like an athlete, I should be hydrating like an

where are my other protein bar-aholics?? (this makes up half my diet and even though it’s impacting my health, i can’t stop 😛)

Do you like things like Powerade or Gatorade zero? I have trouble drinking enough water unless I’m extremely active and outside but I can drink enough with these. I buy Gatorade zero powder in bulk so it’s not as expensive as the bottles.

Cruise Med Kit

I would add some kind of electrolyte powder. I do the Gatorade zero packets. These came in handy when we had an excursion in PR and it was HOT and we were walking a lot. Also, just generally good to keep you hydrated if you drink too much 😉

And so it begins.

I'm two days out from my surgery. The pre-op diet is hard but it is a head game. I tell myself every day that this is 4 weeks out of my entire life. Perspective helps me. After a couple of days you'll get into the groove and find your rhythm. I do shakes/smoothies for breakfast and lunch and then a

Care Package List - Upcoming Surgery & Wanted to Share

Can't see the list either, but here are some things that helped me: Colace, MiraLAX, Gatorade Zero powder packets, shower stool/chair, heating pad, small ice packs (kept in the fridge not the freezer). Already had in my house because I moved my mom here in June and she hurt her back: walker, and a c

4 weeks into my first blue collar job, and I need some advice.

Composite toe all the way. Steel is heavy and the toes get hot in the summer and freeze in winter. Plus they can become a toe guillotine if you drop something really heavy on them. Large insulated water bottle filled with ice every morning and Gatorade zero packets are my preference. The ice in mine

"I really wish I had brought...." OTC edition

I always try to bring band aids, wrinkle release spray/clothes refresher, small packs of wipes for unstocked public bathrooms, face cleansing wipes, and if you’re a drinker, a bunch of Gatorade zero powder packets. One of those in a giant water bottle before bed and you’ll feel way better the next m

Best electrolytes you’ve found?

Gatorade zero powder packets! Mix portion of or whole packet in water to your desired taste - getting tons of water that tastes good without sugar but with electrolytes :)
