Just learned something I thought I would share
In addition to lots of water, I added an electrolyte drink every day (I buy the little Gatorade Zero packets,& dissolve one in a pint of water) and it has made a big difference. I’m mad at myself that it took me years to work out that if I was sweating like an athlete, I should be hydrating like an

Any tips for staying hydrated or flavorless electrolyte powders?
Also Gatorade has fairly negligible electrolytes if you are trying to treat POTS etc. I like some of the Gatorade zero powders, but when I make them (usually in a 20 oz bottle), I add another 1/4 tsp of salt.

Cruise Med Kit
I would add some kind of electrolyte powder. I do the Gatorade zero packets. These came in handy when we had an excursion in PR and it was HOT and we were walking a lot. Also, just generally good to keep you hydrated if you drink too much 😉

Is it safe to drink sport drinks for cramping?
Read the ingredients. Anything with potassium and phosphorus is not OK for someone on dialysis. You are supposed to stay away from those two things, bottom line. I thought I could have a Gatorade zero powder in my water after dialysis. I told that to my doctor and he went ballistic and said absolute

emergency kits
Oh I agree. I feel like these kits were originally sensible, but now they are just another piece of this family's overconsumption. By high school, especially once they are driving, don't they just carry a purse? My emergency stuff is tampons/pads, pantyliners, deodorant, a phone charger, chapstick,

Best electrolytes you’ve found?
Gatorade zero powder packets! Mix portion of or whole packet in water to your desired taste - getting tons of water that tastes good without sugar but with electrolytes :)
