I own a GFX 100 II. The sensor is great for stills. But whyyyyyy is Fuji using a 100 megapixel photo sensor in this $16.5K camera. There is zero benefit to this slow-ass sensor in this application. If the big news here is 4K open gate, I can do that and more in so many other cameras for way cheaper.

I would recommend renting gear first rather than buying based on recommendations. Only you know what your use case is, and what compromises you are willing to accept.
