I use the xh2s and I’d say that the AF is plenty fast but not reliable enough like other systems. However, it greatly depends on what the user‘s requirements are (casual wildlife shooter vs pro). For casual wildlife shooters the Fujifilm system is more than enough. But for pro usage it won’t cut it.

My recommendation for Fuji X-H2S still stays, seriously, check some reviews on youtube, you won’t regret it, it can legit be your only camera for both. I would recommend renting gear first rather than buying based on recommendations. Only you know what your use case is, and what compromises you are willing to accept.
