Crucial T710 vs Samsung 9100 Pro @4TB

Crucial is part of micron the other big dram/nand producer. They offered gen5 drives way before Samsung did. The t705 and t710 are excellent drives, the later outperform the 9100pro in some tests and vice-versa, they are very comparable drives. As to which to get I would say at this level..the cheap

[Updated - Help] Finalizing my white build based on a ref. [9800X3D / RTX 5080 — 10k$CAN]

CPU: I also chose the 9800X3D. The new 9850X3D is also a good choice, but at 1440p, there’s less than 1% difference in performance. CPU COOLER: The Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro A-RGB is an excellent cooler. I placed the Lian Li Hydroshift LCD 360S in your list, primarily because it has no RGB light

New Build Request $7-8k

This is what an $8k budget will get you. I used this MicroCenter bundle for the CPU, mb, and memory. I also took advantage of their 64GB memory upgrade for an additional $400. Just for these three components, this saves you nearly $500, compared to buying the same parts individually online. I also c

Is Acer - Predator Helios Neo 16S AI a PoS laptop?

I have the PH18-72 and can tell you to avoid WD ssd's like the plague as their silicon motion controller doesn't play nice with the chipset. Mine drops the SN8100 randomly so I just ordered some Crucial T710's.

Need help building a new pc.

MONITOR: You didn’t state what your monitor’s resolution is and Samsung makes several Odyssey models, but not many with a 240Hz refresh rate. So, I’m going to assume you have that monster 49” model with a 5120x1440p resolution. That’s a total of 7.37 million pixels, which is much closer to a 4K moni

T1 v2.5 w/ 5090fe and 9800X3D (Cinebench and Gaming Temps included)

Nice!!! About the same components for my project still selecting HW. I already have an RXT5090FE. And I will go for liquid cooling. Just for curiosity why did you choose the Gigabyte Aorus X807I Pro Ice vs an ASUS equivalent, for example the ASUS ROG Strix X870-I GAMING WIFI of the ASUS ROG STRIX B8
