You can still use eveijust as it was stock. Rooting only give you access to SSH into the main control board, and access to all the klipper config files. There are options like the creality helper script that can install extra features and uninstall creality software. But you do not need to do that.

I have a Creality Hi and a K1 SE. The K1 is extremely fast! I just bought the upgrade kit to use the CFS with it. The Hi is great too, but because it’s so new, it’s hard to find replacement parts for some things. I love them both!

Yeah, I pulled it directly from Creality and it installed just fine on my K1 SE. It fixed the screen problem. Also, the initial purge routine has changed a bit.Nothing major, just the sounds are different, so it's running at slightly a different speed.
