I'll counter this with: My K1 SE has been fantastic out of the box. After over 200 print hours, it has only gotten better with fine-tuning calibration for models and filaments. Bad shit happens sometimes, and these machines are very easily serviceable and parts are generally pretty cheap ... whether

Just got one for Christmas so here is my insight: Third party extruders like DXC aren't natively supported. There are different upgrade kits for different models, I have a K1 SE modded as a K1C and not sure what upgrade kit I got, but it required some minor modifications to the cable chain mount to

This is my second creality printer. My first was an Ender 3 S1. I had 1 problem with that printer which was very common on that model. I emailed creality about it only asking to buy the replacement part. They instead sent me one for free. Ran that printer for 4-5 years. I just got the k1 SE about 4

i believe the k1 has gotten refreshed a couple times to be more reliable than it was at launch. i have a k1 se and have had basically no issues in 300 print hours so far. that being said, if you want a printer that works and you don’t have to think about, for better or for worse, go with the bambu.

Congrats!I'll try to help, but will answer the first question last. Its wordy Do I need to enclose it for CF? Nope. PLA-CF is a low warp material, like PLA. What you may need, atleast for TPU is a dry box and filament drier. It likes to be dry. Havn't played around with thy roll of PLA-CF yet. the P

No i haven't but its like the same situation as the creality k1 se to k1c. All the parts are available for the transition you just have to do it yourself then turn the heater on in the configuration file its not hard if you are handy with tools and config files

There’s nothing I can see inherently wrong with the K2 SE’s design and it does seem to be an incremental improvement over the K1 SE, would you agree? I just think it’s misleading to put the SE in the K2 family. I don’t KNOW the details, but Creality doesn’t seem to have much co-ordination between it

If I was in your position, I’d look at a Creality K1 SE or something like that. You can get a refurbed unit for $160 shipped on eBay directly from Creality. CoreXY is a huge upgrade over an ender bedslinger. IIRC, the SE isn’t enclosed but that can be added later if you choose.
