Qidi Q2 has been amazing for me. Only other experience is with a Creality k1 SE and it’s a headache. The Qidi has been flawless out of the box.

I have a 2024 model k1-se, I have done and would recommend the following depending on your wanted outcome. General printing: Official Creality enclosure - will allow for printing high temp filaments and minimize warping Side mount spool holder (printable) - rear mount spool is frustrating depending

I'll counter this with: My K1 SE has been fantastic out of the box. After over 200 print hours, it has only gotten better with fine-tuning calibration for models and filaments. Bad shit happens sometimes, and these machines are very easily serviceable and parts are generally pretty cheap ... whether

Just got one for Christmas so here is my insight: Third party extruders like DXC aren't natively supported. There are different upgrade kits for different models, I have a K1 SE modded as a K1C and not sure what upgrade kit I got, but it required some minor modifications to the cable chain mount to

You are not looking at the floor of 3D printing, which is just sticking to Bambu printers, their PLA filaments, sticking to the default Bambu Studio settings and having your filament enclosed. That's what a lot of antis really do. (I guess either I need to add a disclaimer that I do use an X1C on th

The Filament Runout Sensor isn't a necessary, but I do admit, I don't worry when I am low anymore. As long as I have a spare roll, I let it ride. it auto pauses and slews to the left front so you can change to the next roll, Depending on what you would like to print, something like the Creality Cera

Buy a roll of hyper PLA and use Creality print. Make sure you identify hyper PLA in the slicer. You’ll be amazed at the instant improved quality. At least I did on my k1 se. Also get a Creality unicorn hot end.

You can still use eveijust as it was stock. Rooting only give you access to SSH into the main control board, and access to all the klipper config files. There are options like the creality helper script that can install extra features and uninstall creality software. But you do not need to do that.

yea but they’re still totally different price points, you’re comparing a bed slinger vs corexy, of course the corexy will beat it. i got a creality k1 se (corexy) and, while i haven’t used a bambu printer to compare against, it’s been quite literally plug and play with no issues so far

While I think the P1S is a pretty damn good printer, I will offer a lower priced alternative with the Creality K1 family. This includes the K1SE, K2SE, K1, K1C and K1 Max. Both of the SEs can be enclosed. Difference is one seems to come with parts from the CFS combo and a chute outside. K1C comes wi
