Just got one for Christmas so here is my insight: Third party extruders like DXC aren't natively supported. There are different upgrade kits for different models, I have a K1 SE modded as a K1C and not sure what upgrade kit I got, but it required some minor modifications to the cable chain mount to

Buy a roll of hyper PLA and use Creality print. Make sure you identify hyper PLA in the slicer. You’ll be amazed at the instant improved quality. At least I did on my k1 se. Also get a Creality unicorn hot end.

I was in the same boat as you. Almost got the Elegoo CC, then they went back on all their promises. Then I found the Creality K1 SE. It was $100 cheaper also. It's basically an updated version of the K1 and k1C, but it doesn't have an enclosure, side cooling fan, exhaust fan, and camera. Currently I

K1 SE (open frame K1C) with CFS. Works perfectly. I primarily use the RFID Creality Hyper PLA with it though. But I have run generic PLA and PETG with it fine.

ok so long story short the reason the cfs wont work and it didnt work for me is that the ender 3 v3 normal has that thing where you have to lock/unlock to pull/push filament and it also needs a filament cutter to cut the filament and the k1 upgrade kit wont work because the ender 3 v3 has a slightly

I've been trying a new process (for me), this is this is what I do now, and this is why. With a new clean textured plate everything would print fine for a while with PLA then I would print a different filament (PETG) and start having adhesion issues even after washing. Go back to PLA and now that wo

I got the K1 SE as my first printer, and I've had zero issues with it like everyone has been saying about Creality printers. The only issues that have come around have been my own mistakes. My printer performs even better than I expected, and has printed PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS and PC with no issues, ev

The answers to the PLA problems with Creality always seems the same. Open the top to let out the heat that collects up there. There is also a heatsink that can be added to the extruder motor on the K1, might be a gimmick, but it kept my motor a little cooler on my K1 SE. Another thing you might try

Congrats!I'll try to help, but will answer the first question last. Its wordy Do I need to enclose it for CF? Nope. PLA-CF is a low warp material, like PLA. What you may need, atleast for TPU is a dry box and filament drier. It likes to be dry. Havn't played around with thy roll of PLA-CF yet. the P
