Check out the Benq ma270u. It’s very close to Studio Display at a much affordable price point.

Thanks for your feedback! I’m currently eyeing the BenQ PD2739S (5K) but also tempted by the MA270U. The 5K ticket in this case is an extra 700 dollars compared to the cheaper brother. Of course you also get Thunderbolt, more ports and better contrast. Decisions, decisions 😅

Thanks for all the help, everyone! I have gone ahead and ordered the BenQ MA270U. I was specifically looking at a 27-inch, and this one seems like the most bang for the buck option at the moment. Haven't seen people complaining too much about it either. Unfortunately, can't say the same about the De

I am using BenQ MA270U. It is definitely worth it. It comes with some color profiles, which enables it to present colors similar to the MacBook, iPhone and iPad model you set. LG's entry-level products often have some minor problems. It is OK considering its price.

Update (12/16/25): I ended up buying the BenQ MA270U 27” since it fit in my budget and had good reviews. I noticed the display is actually brighter than my macbook screen (can’t really tell in the photo) and the color matching is good enough for me.

All in all, I might end up with the LG 27UP850-W, feels like sweetspo

I would definitely recommend the MA270U. There’s a lot of videos on it of Mac users loving it. Like I said. It looks really good on my M4 Mini but after not seeing it on MacOS for a few weeks, then seeing it hooked up to my wife’s MacBook Pro. I was pleasantly surprised how close the sharpness and c

From India here! Check Benq’s gw2790qt. Its 27 inches 2k monitor but I am not sure about Airplay. I have purchased MA270U last week and its working great. I do remember seeing an Airplay option, will check how it works and update you tomorrow .. though its little over your budget as its 4k! Difficul

I’m in the exact same boat as you — still conflicted between the BenQ MA270U and the Dell U2725QE. The marketing/PR behind the BenQ has me a bit suspicious, and a lot of people say the 60 Hz feels sub-par for a 2025 monitor. On the other hand, the Dell is more expensive and has way more ports than I
